Great Eastern Medical School and Hospital was established in 2006. The college is located in near the Visakhapatnam-Srikakulam National Highway. The college is recognized by Medical Council of India. The college offers undergraduate & post graduate programme in Medical Science. The galleries / lecture halls are well designed with convenient seating arrangements and audio-visual facilities. A modern library complete with various journal subscriptions and multimedia materials is also attached to the college.

We have quarters and each thing be it MBBS or others have their own building.

Admission:

I applied at various colleges as I gave NEET. My main target were government medical colleges but I couldn't and our college had management seats so I chose this. One can get admission here through convenor or through management quota as both the options are available.

A cute little story of my college

Admission:

I haven't applied for any other colleges as I found this college is one of the top most college with attached hospital where the patient exposure is more so that we can learn a lot I haven't get any rejections from other colleges Coming to the Admission process the student must have completed their intermediate in science background with a percentage 70% and more Exams accepted: NEET Cutoffs marks will be varied based on the the final cutoff which will be announced by the Government

The student must pass intermediate. And then he should attend NEET ug examination. He should get cutoff marks in that to qualify for a medical college. The admission and other details are given by NMC. Reservations have role in getting the medical seat

Admission:

To get into mbbs, we have to qualify for the Neet entrance exam which is conducted after12 th class. Cut-off marks vary with the reservation..cut off marks - are around 500 or more out of 720. Application fees - 10000, the application form is available in the college office and can opt for college online during counselling itself. Application dates vary every year mostly during at the end of August Reservation benefits are available as low marks can also get a seat based on bc, sc, or st ., some students get a scholarship from AP govt. There is an improvement already which varies with time when I took admission.
