Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Aspects the encouraged me to take this course is my own interest regarding this . I like this and I want to clear the exams and be agood doctor. The things which prepared us to the real world is our hard work .curriculum play about may be of 20 % in this. Areas for improvement in curriculum are just remove seminars there is no use just time waste . U can keep an exam on a day for that purpose students will study .in reality no body is preparing for seminar. Frequency and timing of exams are tolerable.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I'm mbbs students so here companies don't offer any jobs . But in our 5th year we do internship with stipend 10000.. regarding projects we don't do much as in engeneering colleges so we do some in our 1st and 2 nd year mbbs life .regarding clarifying the outcomes we discuss the doubts among us .If the thing is not solved the we do go to the professors and yeah they will clarify . In internship we do posting in all departments . We got to learn so much new stuff which will help us in our future.thats great right.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure will be divided into two which is of academic fee and hostel fee. In the first year I paid 1,75000 academic fee and 145000 hostel fee . in 2nd professional year I paid 55000 as academic fee and 135000 as hostel fee. In academic fee which is of amount 55000 includes 15000 as tution fee and 40000 as transportion fee. For B and C category students the hostel fee is same as 135000 but academic fee varies. For B category it is of 6 lakhs and for C category it is around 24 -26 lakhs. Scolarship will be provided by the government according to the socio-economic status.

Campus Life

3.5

Annual fests. Are culturels which are conducted for 1 week continuously. Range of availability of books and journals in library is pretty vast . Facilities and technologies in classroom are of modern type which includes projtor screens ,central AC etc. Sports and extra curricular activities are offered in campus . Leagues are conducted .batch games are conducted. Yes in our College clubs are present and accordingly the prorammes are conducted.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

In room facilities are airconditioner, bed ,cupboard, our own table and own chair are given . Review of meals are average not so so super .but yes we can live and manage life with that food Registration process for hostel is easy. But fee is so high 135000 which don't include message, current fee, dhobi. I'm saying in college hostel.

Admission

After knowing my result I came to know that I don't seat in any government medical college so among private ones what I heard is that this college is good so I joined. The other colleges I applied for NRI chinnakakani, GSL,GEMS, etc. admission process includes certificate submission and verification Booking of hostel rooms .eligibility is neet marks should be qualified.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio comparatively less in some departments . Relationship between faculty and students are pretty good in some departments like GM, Opthal , SPM ,FM and some other. Personally I like spm department professors I dislike paediatric and OBGY department pofessors. In an year on an average we write 3 academic internal exams and 1 final year internal exams . The exams will be moderately hard. May be 35 of 150 fail to pass. Course curriculam is according to NMC

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
