Course Curriculum Overview

3

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Fees and Financial Aid

At the of joining we paid 175000 for academic fee along with library, security deposit etc next we should pay 55000 yearly foe 4 years hostel fee is based on maximum members sharing the room from 145000 to 215000 mess fee is seperate current bill is seperate

Campus Life

5

my campus life is awesome, as our collage mainly focuses on academics along with cultural events in a student friendly manner.Management supports a lot for the social aspects and club events. Our collage mainly focuses on the sports club which will be held in a our collage every year with all kind of support from the college managemnet the infrastructure in our colege one of the best compared to other colleges in this field of education we have new hostel rooms which are specious for three persons daily cleaning activity is done by the workers there are so many varieties and authers books are present in oue library along with rare case studies records etc all the classrooms are digital classrooms and they are maitained by audio and visual mananagement everything is monitered by the management by CCTV cameras all around the campus there are courts for various game like volleyball, basketball, throwball, tennis, ball badminton, badminton cricketand finallu football various leagues are conducted by students and management every month clubs inclide books club ,sports club, dance club, singing club, green club , decorative club etc are present in our college

Hostel Facilities

3

free wifi is provided to studets who are staying in hostel all the rooms AIR CONDITIONED rooms locker facitityb is also available meals are not so good standard menu is follwed again and again in the college mess registration process is so simple for the college hostel hostels are not so affordable in my personal opinion every year the hoste fee should be paid in time or else the care taker will make a ruckus from it there are many pgs and homes are available in the eluru locality for the students who are willing to stay on their own near railway station ,main centre ,fire statsion road are popular for rented homes and pgs

Admission

I didnt chose this college ,college chosen me,theres a ranking system in NEET in which we have to chose a priority list that we can apt for and considering my rank i thought this college is best for me.I couldnt make other college beacuse of the heavy competition for those collages and the admission process starts with giving my submitting the documents required and there is a small interaction with the principal about the academics and college performance

Faculty

4

1}The faculty to the student ratio is very high i.e 1:25 and regarding the relationship between student and faculty is good enough for the student to get an insight of the subject that they are struggling to deal with The approachability of the faculty is great as there's a programme called as mentor-mentee meetings where theres a direct ineraction between students and their allocated faculty members, here student can share their problems regarding subjects and any personal problems to their mentors 2}The faculty that i liked the most is DR.BAPUJI SIR from the department of anatomy and the reason of my interest in his teachings is beacuse of his active sessions and the way he interacts with each student personally and the level of experience he's having and inspite of his teaching excellence he's actually down to earth person and teaches students from the core basics and the level of patience and the experience he holds makes any student to fall in love with his teaching and anatomy The best facilities in my college is department of ANATOMY,PHYSIOLOGY,PATHOLOGY 3}The faculities i personally dont like are from the department of microbiology and pharmacology, its because of the strict actions they take for some mistakes that dont compensate for the actions any student make either bymistake or wantedly They are not student friendly when it comes to interactions and the syllabus they allocate for the weekly exams are burdensome 4}The level of difficulty of the exams depends on the amount of syllabus they allocate for us and mostly on the scale of 1 to 5 I personally give it a rating of 3.5 due to the level of stress that i deal with and the extent of syllabus that one has to cover

Night Life

5

There is GYM facility for both men and women in their respctive hostels along with certified trainers Instrusted students can consult the trainer there are total of 3 cafeterias in the college where the students meet and cat in their leisure time there is a 24 hpurs accessable library in the campus the students arent allowed to roam in gthe college premises after 10pm the students are allowed to wander in the college upto 10 pm outside the hostels after that the students are only allowed to go out only if there is a reason there are many places to visit and hangout outside the campus like malls and cafeterias and restaurants in the locality we also have a bird santuary at the distance of 15 km to visit if the studets are intrested

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

The term exams will be conducted once in 10-12 months. And for every one professional year the exams are conducted and they are held by separate universities of our state . For us exams are conducted by ysrruhs. The exams are difficult to pass if we start studying in the last ie near to exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.
