Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The neu cirriculum that is CBME is the worst cirriculum which has been proposed by the central government in the name of NMC ( national medical council) in the year 2019. It is not the same thing as the previous cirriculum. Here more the cons than pros in this cirriculum.

Internships Opportunities

4

We have a compulsory rotatory internship program in our college which each and every student have to complete after completing and clearing their exams in the MBBS for all the 19 subjects. In the internship we will be given stipends but they are too less for our needs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee is 25000 and extra fees will be collected for miscellaneous expenses, library fees and sports fees and the total would be around 50000 per year . And we can also opt for scholarships under andhrapradesh state government.

Campus Life

4.5

Here in the college we celebrate every Indian festival like dusshera , diwali, ganesh chathurthi, holi , ugadhi and so on. And also we have our college cultural events, college annual day , sports days and aports inauguration.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels were really good actually earlier we used to have other hostels which were like haunted houses and now after the renovation these hostels were very good and we get these kind of hostel nowhere un any other college.

Admission

I have applied for only to this college and got my seat in the same college which I have applied to. And i felt very happy for this thing to happen for me and i was not rejected by any other college. And i secured a good rank to get my seat alloted in this college.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio. Is good enough but now in the recent batches the number of students have increased and thus more faculty needed to be recruited. Basically exams in MBBS are not easy , they are tough and they test our ability to work hard and make sure we are doing well.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
