Course Curriculum Overview

5

This course is dream of many as we the doctors are the people who are seen as god's for many.. and pursuing this course is my dream... As the clinical knowledge and the knowledge of being able to save someone's life is very exciting and the happiness you get from saving a life is inexplicable in terms of words.

Placement Experience

5

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for every year of the course of MBBS is 15,000rs which is decided by the university and doesn't change until every 10-20 years. There is a eligibility for the state scholarship and there is a university scholarship too if you are having lower income

Campus Life

5

The campus itself is a bit old as it had a 80 year old history although the campus is old the staff and students aren't.. there are lot of developments like building new blocks for both adjoining hospital and college for better infrastructure.. coming the clubs there are many like sports club, chess club, poetry club, music club, dance club and many more to join upon the students interest.. these clubs help a lot to students to grow their social interaction

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility in the college is a bit older due to the poor infrastructure from 80yrs back.. since they are constructing a new block for hostel we can expect a better hostel very soon.. while the meal quailty and menu are great inside the hostel.. and as the college is in the city limits one can expect a paying guest hostels nearby for which they provide food and room for a decent 8-10k per month

Admission

Our college is a government medical college.. the admission into this college is completely merit based and this is one of the prestigious institutes of the state and the college itself encourages sports and friendly staff and great clinical knowledge.. which no other colleges can promise

Faculty

4

The staff are just awesome as they are also did MBBS and MD they are very trained professionals with a lot of knowledge and the best staff a student can get for the study of MBBS. The anatomy head of the department is a bit naive but she still is good when it comes to subject and the remaining staff are friendly

Interview Experience

5

There will be group discussions and seminars on topics to keep the students engaged and interacted with other students and staff.. we prepare the seminars beforehand based on the topic given by professor and we prepare a speech to deliver what exactly we think and then we collect a lot of opinions and that helps us to understand a lot of important things

Night Life

5

Nightlife in the campus is good but it can be better the library stays upto 10pm everyday and the gym is open 24hrs a day and seven days a week the cafeteria is also 24hrs as there will be duty doctors round the clock .. the hostel is good and comfortable but can be better and there is a new block under construction for hostel Outside the college the college is sited in a major city so we can expect a lot of night life to enjoy including many view points and temples and restuarants to explore

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
