Katuri Medical College and Hospital (KMCH) is one of the oldest medical colleges which was established in 1997 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated with Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and recognized by the Medical Council of India. It also forms collaboration with International Medical and Technological University. KMCH Guntur offers various Diploma, UG, PG, and Super Speciality courses in the field of medicine and nursing. - The faculty is generally good. Most of the professors are knowledgeable in their fields and show genuine interest in teaching. They're usually approachable and willing to clarify doubts.
- Large campus with amenities of gym, sports ,and Library. Infrastructure is not luxurious but meets the needs. Mess is not terrible same goes with hostel livable

- Far way from the major city 22 kms ,being a girl travelling has been quite a difficulty .
- Few events in college ,but a major college week is conducted yearly.

I have applied for every college in our state . On a senior's advices of having good educational opportunities i preferred this college. I didn't get the other colleges because I didn't score upto their cutoff Neet ug is the eligibility this college

The Admission Process was quite simple, The details of the whole process can be found on the ysruhs website provided by the state government, As I was from the general category I haven't availed of any kind of benefits via reservation, and the entrance exam is NEET, the cut off was-119.
Admission:
The criteria of admission are based on marks obtained in NEET. As per NTRUHS rules, I should enter the college via the counseling process I've chosen all colleges during the process. From which finally as per my marks obtained I was allotted this college based on my priority order under convenor quota. This year counseling process has been conducted online due to the pandemic.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is quite vast. The syllabus is similar to any other medical college in India. The entire course duration is of 4 years and 6 months + one-year internship, that makes it a total 5.5 years course.
Admission:
The college can be said to have excellent infrastructure,great faculty,well maintained libraries and laboratories and also the overall atmosphere of the college is superb.I had the best days of my life in this college.From attending lectures to having chit chats in the campus with friends ,the 5year journey has been fantastic.
Admission:
The college environment is good with great infrastructure and a beautiful lawn outside. The college also has good library facility and very friendly faculty members. The college also has sufficient lab facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum of this college is very good and with a best quality. The course will take around 5 and a half year, this course consists of internals and one public exam conducted by NTRUHS, from Vijayawada. The exam includes both practical and the theory exams.
Admission:
This college has no negative remarks in my opinion as the fee structure is very low when compared with the other. The faculty are very good. The campus is very neat and silent for the students to get trained in a calm surroundings. The department blocks and buildings were very good.
