Remarks

It's pretty good, we get a lot of freedom but infrastructure is very very poor also poor hostel facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course is 5. 5 yrs. with 4. 5 years of ug and 1 year of internship. it's really hard to give proff exams. it is research driven if ur interested. there is a lot of Scope in research. we get to visit hospitals and rural areas phcs. many govt. jobs are available after internship.

Placement Experience

4

Internship is one year program where we get stypend of 15-17k but many times the salary is delayed. we get once in 3 months. placements are nothing but jobs which we get in a well reputed hospital with good pay if done a post graduation.

College Events

3.5

We have an annual college day. fest once Ina year. and a freshers party. also hostel days. sports events. Halloween parties. Holi celebrations. Ganesh chaturthi. new years Eve. participation is huge but they are not that big.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It isn't that expensive as it a government college. the fees is minimal. The college provides transparency in the fee breakdown. no additional charges to be paid to get an admission. the payment mode is self payment through cash. but there is no loophole in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't apply any scholarship as I'm not elligible to it. They are only available for students with reservations.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio female to male is 2:1. gender ethnicity, race, religion barriers are not present. Many extracurricular activities are held but once in a while and competitions aren't taken that seriously. Exposure is very less. Many students with low economic status are also there but aren't biased.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. they are very helpful. they come once in a year and guide us. they tell us about the opportunities out there and many more.

Admission

Admission through neet. generally conducted in April -may. admission process is through MCI guidelines. you need to study botany, zoology, physics, chemistry to the entrance. after the entrance u need to attend the counselling. where u will be allotted a seat in a college according to ur rank and ur preference of college order.

Faculty

4.5

All the lectureres and proffessors are highly qualified as they all are doctors with a speciality. they have minimum of 10 years of experience in the field. all doubts are clarified if approached. they receive our questions nicely and tell patiently.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a dream of lakhs of students in India and I am no different. I worked really hard to get myself enrolled in this prestigious 100-year-old Medical College of India. Student-Teacher Ratio during lectures is around 125:1 and during practicals and small-group Discussions is about 20:1. Faculty in all medical colleges are well qualified as they themselves are doctors first and then a professor. Most of them have done their MD/MS degree from renowned Medical Institutes of India including AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI etc. The teaching method is a bit monotonous during lectures because most of the professors teach passively using a presentation, but real teaching happens in Laboratories and Clinical Postings where we actually see the purpose of our studies. Term Exams are one of the most dreaded things in most medical colleges as they make really tough to test the real understanding of the students in a particular subject. Passing criteria is 50% marks in both Theory & Practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I always wanted to be a doctor and this college fulfills that dream. The faculty-student ratio is one to 1:12. In college, The teaching method is of classroom type & have any doubt about a particular topic, then you can directly meet the professor and clarify your doubt. They'll be happy to clarify it. The term exams or conducted in a timely and were slightly difficult to pass, But if you study well, you can pass easily.

It was my dream to pursue mbbs. I had worked hard for 3 years to get qualify for neet and to get a seat in medical college. No crisis of faculties.I feel it's a better faculty students ratio when compared to other medical colleges..5 -8 faculties per department Faculty qualification: mbbs followed by MD or ms, super speciality also (some) , some: diploma in respective departments Yearly-based exams conducted on January -Feb It was slightly difficult to pass unless we study from starting of the academic year and understood & knowledge about the subject
