University of Alberta offers 5 MBA programs through the Alberta School of Business. Apart from a 2-year full-time MBA program, Alberta also offers a 10-22 months track MBA, Part-time and Online MBA along with a 22-month Executive MBA. The Albert MBA in full-time mode requires the completion of 60 credits in total. The first year of the full-time MBA at UAlberta involves core curriculum and orientation while the second year is completely focused on electives chosen by the student.

University of Alberta India Specific Requirements

The university considers various academic curriculum as eligible and valid while offering admissions some of which are as mentioned below:

• Advanced Placement: Submit the AP score (minimum score of 2 or 65%) or high school grade, the higher of the two shall be considered for admission.
• International Baccalaureate: Minimum score of 3 or 55%; or high school grade, the higher of the two shall be evaluated.
• Indian Curricula: Submission of final Class XII board results (CBSE or CISCE).

University of Alberta Admissions Interview Process

The Alberta School of Business and the Faculty of Medicine invites applicants to attend an admission interview. Interview at Business school takes place in 2 rounds with the first interview being conducted via Kira while the second interview may be conducted in person. It lasts approximately 30-60 minutes and can be taken by two interviewers. During the interview, the applicant will be asked to clarify his career goals and reason for choosing the particular department and program to study.

Tip for Admission Interview:

• Interviews can be scheduled back to back, hence it is advised to be prepared in advance.
• For an in-person interview, try to come at least 10 minutes earlier to research the location first.
• Try to practice behavioural questions and situation based questions with your friends or family members.
• Dress formally and take it as a job interview even if it's taken online.
• For an in-person interview, keep an open body language, sit straight and show confidence by making eye contact.
• Feel free to talk about your achievements, hobbies and what contribution you would give to the incoming class.

University of Alberta admissions decision date comes after 1-2 weeks of successful application submission. You will either receive an admission offer or a comment from the admission advisors.
