Required Exams for Admission
I think the your experience in college is what you make of it. If you go in knowing exactly what you want to do with your career and use college as a means of getting there, then you may miss out on campus activities, meeting new people, networking, developing yourself, etc. it’s not a bad route to go because it gives you focus but there may be things that you may wish you would’ve taken the time out to experience while in college.
Course Curriculum
The Course curriculum is too rigorous. The Assignments are too Difficult to solve.
Faculty
The faculty is awesome.
Campus Life
International Students Association is very Active in doing workshops and extra curriculum activities.
Placement
There are career fairs every 3 months. Many students get offers for job.
Accommodation
I live off campus.
Exams
I gave only Duolingo Exam 130 Score. My Bachelors CGPA was 3.42. No SOP is required for course based programs in UAlberta. While LOR should be well written. Usually students take help from ChatGPT , same which I did. I had one round of interview after application with the Professor under whom I wanted to work, it was a sense check on my knowledge and its depth for the masters project.
