Required Exams for Admission
It’s a fun, educational experience. Definitely gets stressful around exam season and before the submission of huge assignments but the winding down is just as enjoyable and there is always something going on in the university that helps you wind down.
Course Curriculum
My course syllabus is very relatable, It also caters to students that would like to advance and also allows for slow progression according to one’s pace. The flexibility in course scheduling is one of my favorite parts of studying here. I’ve had a lot of research opportunities and exposure.
Faculty
The faculty is very approachable. The assigned TAs are always very helpful and respond 24/7 through various channels. It’s easy to approach a figure of authority for help, guidance or just to talk very easily.
Campus Life
The libraries are one of my favorite places to study on campus, There are zones of various amounts of noise from collaborative zone with lots of sound to quiet spaces with absolute silence. There are loads of clubs that cater to every interest or need from engineering robotic clubs to networking clubs to astrology and astronomy clubs. There is almost always an event happening on campus like free pancakes or free goodies that are always fun to partake and attend.
Placement
The placements processes are excelling and the hiring equally. There are several famous company developer clubs for computing science. There are also several networking clubs that act as mediators and a mode of network connection for students and companies thus making placements and internships more accessible, easier and plenty.
Accommodation
I lived in residence for my first year and currently live off campus. Both have been very fun and affordable. I chose to share a room for my first year but currently share a 2 bedroom apartment with my room mate.
Exams
My IELTS score was 8.5 overall band and my school predicted percentage for 12th boards was 92%. This university didn’t ask for SOP or LOR. I did have a CV prepared and had to submit it.
Fees
The total tuition fee for my degree is 120,000 plus miscellaneous fee.
Scholarship
I received two entrance scholarships for my first year totalling 7500 CAD.
