Campus Life
- My college is the main campus and there are several more campuses of it; i think least 7 more. The campus does have a well-stocked library, a fully equipped gym, plenty of studying areas, and a 24-hour open lounge area for students. Throughout the year the campus does host several events and activities.
- Each georgian campus has a GSCA that's basically established by students, which runs all the events in college. It also has a food bank where students can get emergency food supply with no charge.

Likes
- Barrie’s Georgian College offers an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere that fosters cultural acceptance. The campus community is conspicuously friendly and welcoming, which makes it easy for students from a variety of backgrounds to feel right at home.
- The college is known for its top-notch education, providing many different kinds of programs that focus on the kind of learning you do with your hands, like when you're working with co-op placements, doing internships, or taking part in some kind of experiential project. This kind of on-the-ground learning, in combination with classroom learning, makes for a well-rounded student.
- A professional work environment, bolstered by contemporary facilities and technology, characterizes Georgian College. These modern elements, coupled with a well-organized campus that is easy to navigate, create a largely distraction-free atmosphere conducive to serious academic work.
Dislikes
- Intense Weather in the Area: Barrie has cold winters and lots of snow, which might affect students' lives and traveling to college. The college advises the students to remain updated about any weather announcements on campus and/or campus closure.
- On-Campus/Off-Campus Accommodation: Georgian College does have on-campus residence facilities; however, space is limited. Other options are off-campus housing; a student needs to be aware of rental scams. While considering off-campus housing, distance from campus, transportation, etc.
- Transportation: Public transport serves the college, but its frequency and coverage is not satisfactory in all aspects for everyone. Students without cars, particularly, face considerable difficulties getting to and from campus in bad weather conditions.
Campus Life
- Georgian College has 7 campuses across Ontario.
Barrie Campus (Main Campus)
Orillia Campus

Muskoka Campus
Orangeville Campus
South Georgian Bay Campus
Alpine Ski Resort Campus - I study at the main campus which is the Barrie campus, this campus is equipped with lots of facilities such as a big library, sports facilities, gym, basketball court, and medical centre.
- Our college organises various events and fests throughout the year, the most loved event is Winter fest, it is organised to welcome the winter season and many activities are organised like ice skating, snow sculptures etc.
- The student union actively organises theme parties and cultural events. There are various sports clubs which students can join like basketball, soccer, volleyball etc.
- Overall, Georgian College provides a lot of extracurricular activities to keep the students
engaged and entertained.

- Campus is too small as compared to other colleges and the facilities in the colleges are so less.
Campus Life
- My college has 6 campuses. I am not aware of all the campuses, but one is Barrie, one is Toronto Downtown, one is Orillia, and one is Owen Sound.
- No facilities on my campus; nothing is there; not many events take place; neither festivals nor clubs happen.
- In terms of extracurricular activities, just games are boring and some general stuff happens sometimes only.
Fees
- The entire course cost me around $30000, approx. the fees one has to pay semester-wise. Every semester before its beginning, the fees start getting due.
- Monthly expenses of a student average around $1000-1300 as of the current scenario, including rent, transportation, food, and miscellaneous. If you prefer some luxury, then you must be ready to bear it up to $2000.
