Humber College: Admissions 2026, Fees, Rankings, Scholarships & Programs

• The campus life was pretty much nonexistent, as the humber downtown campus is just a 3-story area in a downtown business building, for libraries there was a book vending machine with a very limited number of books available, like 30-40 books.

• Tuition fees were CAD $22000 per year and looking at the curriculum

• Campus life is great and diverse. You get some great experience with their events.

• Fee was  $36,000 for 4 semester.

• Humber College has 3 campuses:
• North Campus—Located in Etobicoke, it is the largest campus of the three and offers a wider range of programs, including engineering.
• Lakeshore Campus—The Lakeshore campus is located near Lake Ontario and is known for its natural beauty and how close it is to the lake. This is where I studied.
• IGS Campus—Located in the middle of downtown Toronto, it is a comparatively smaller setup and my least favourite of all the campuses.
• If I compare it to the fests that happen here in India, like in Delhi University, the scale on which they are conducted is much larger. I didn’t get to witness anything to that extent. There were a few events that were pretty okay. So, I would say the college has decent events conducted on and off campus. One was Ribfest, which was conducted on the college campus. It was a pretty famous fest held on the premises.
• Humber puts a lot of effort into Orientation Week, which is conducted with full spirit. It included a lot of games, campus tours, interactive sessions, etc. A few other things that the college celebrated included Wellness Week, focusing on mental health and self-care. We were given a week off after the first half of the semester and two weeks off before the next semester started as part of it. There were also a lot of career fairs and networking events conducted. When it comes to clubs and extracurriculars, there were plenty of options, like the Humber Toastmasters Club for public speaking and various cultural clubs like the Indian Students Association, which organized festivals like Diwali and Holi parties. Humber also has sports teams, but participation strongly depends on how much time we can spare, especially with the part-time work international students have to do to meet their expenses.
• Talking about my experience, I was a part of the Toastmasters Club and volunteered for Orientation Weeks. I enjoyed being a part of them and felt like I was contributing to the community, especially with the volunteering part. I didn’t find Humber’s event culture overly flashy, but it still provides some decent opportunities to connect, participate, and feel included, especially if one is willing to step out and get involved.

• I think we paid around 36,000 CAD, approximately. Initially, after getting accepted, I was supposed to pay the full one-year fee, i.e., for the 1st and 2nd semesters. I had a 2-year program, so for the 3rd and 4th semesters, we paid the fee before the semester started. For the 1st year, we paid when I was in India, which was done by my father through bank transfer directly to the college from his account. All the details were provided by the college, and my parents handled the banking work as they were paying for my fees.
• When I was in Canada, my father transferred the funds to my bank account there, and then I paid the fees for the 3rd and 4th semesters like that. Paying from a Canadian bank account was pretty simple. I could do an e-transfer from my Canadian bank account to the college, which takes less than a minute or two, or I could use my card, which again is pretty easy. There was another option provided—paying through installments.
• Talking about the hostel, every semester we had to apply for the college residence. I booked the hostel for the 1st semester as I was new to the country and could not find a place outside, so I opted for the college residence. The college residence is pretty cheap comparatively during the summer semester, i.e., around 800-something, but the mess is not functional during that time. For other semesters, the hostel is pretty expensive, including the mess charges as well. After the 1st semester, I opted to stay out of the hostel. The reason being—it was expensive, and staying out was cheaper. The kitchen was on the ground floor and I used to stay on the 2nd floor, which was extremely inconvenient as I like to cook my food.
• And during other semesters, I mentioned that expenses to eat in the mess were mandatory—we were charged for it when paying for the hostel, with no option to opt out. So in that case, I had to eat in the mess, which again is something I didn’t like. As an Indian and a vegetarian, I am very particular about my food choices, so I prefer cooking my meals.
• I was staying very close to the college throughout my studies, so I saved on transportation. Talking about my monthly expenses, including rent, food, and other miscellaneous expenses, I used to incur approximately 1,200 CAD. For me, rent has always been an average of 800 CAD. After the college residence, I stayed at two other places in the same area—the rent was almost the same. I was cooking for myself, so grocery expenses were also not much. My workplace was also very close, and I was only occasionally going out, so I pretty much used to incur around 1,200 CAD monthly or so.
   

• Humber has 4 campuses, which host a diverse range of programs and resources to support student life. Facilities include libraries, gyms, indoor/outdoor sports and also student wellness centres. The student body of the college is also very active in hosting events and celebrating all the festivals.
• There are multiple clubs that you could be a part of, every semester there are elections for the student body. Humber also has its basketball, Cricket and hockey teams, which compete with other colleges.

• My college has 3 campuses. One is located in downtown Toronto, other being the North campus which is in Etobicoke, this is the one I attended and other being the Lakeshore Campus which is in Lakeshore Boulevard.
• All campus have wide range of facilities, including a well-equipped library, sports facilities like a gym, and on-campus medical services for students, Art and dance clubs, on campus fast food chains that offer wide variety of cuisines to choose from
• Overall, the campus experience is vibrant, with plenty of opportunities for students to engage in both academic and extracurricular activities.
   

• The total fees for my course at Humber College was around CAD 18,000 which is for 2 semesters as it was a one year course and had 2 semesters. this was tuition fees which also covered my medical insurance which as roughly CAD 400 and other services and tools which were used for some courses.
• My monthly expenses is around $1100 - $1200. This includes rent which is $650 for a single private room $150 for my commute as I rely on public transit to travel to my college or to buy my groceries and sometimes to explore new places around here. for my food I spend around $250 which is enough to get my monthly ration and also I eat out sometimes. I also buy new clothes sometimes like when it is winter I had to buy jackets and winter or some decor items for my room which in total was around $500 but since it is a one time investment I don't count it as my daily expanse but yeah initially I had invest money to live in a new place.
   

• My college had 3 campuses.

2. Lakeshore Campus-Located at 3199 Lake Shore Blvd., W., Toronto, Ontario, Canada M8V 1K8.
3. International Graduate School-Located at 59 Hayden Street Toronto, ON, Canada, M4Y 2P2.

• The facilities available are:

• I used to live on my own so there was no hostel fees.
• For the first year, we have to pay the whole fees. Then we can pay semester-wise.
• Monthly expense for me, since I used to drive a car. so I had to pay its monthly payments and insurance and then gas too. so it was around $3000 for me for each month.
   

I decided to study in Humber because it offered the best nursing course across Ontario. Even they are providing mandatory Co-op, Humber is organising extracurricular activities every week which helps to relax the students. Humber North Campus is just a few steps away from the Bus terminal. My overall experience at Humber is the best.

Humber has 3 campuses-North, Lakeshore, IGS. It provides access to a gym, library, pool and many more amenities You just need to have your Humber student card. It offers every student 25$ in the library for printing. You can join the Humber Ignite club which organizes events and fests very often for refreshments for students. Every week there are some extracurricular activities at each campus of Humber, if you participate in such activities it may provide you free gifts, toffees, snacks and many more items.

I chose this college because of it's quality education and this is one of the most respected educational institutions in Toronto with it's beautiful campus and placements, practical approach used in teaching. One of the best colleges in Toronto, highly recommended for the quality of education they provide.

All sorts of sports are played, a really pretty campus just beside the lake, free wifi and much more.

Sop was required and one of the main points was proving that I came back to India Because it offered the best course of my field. As per my research, it was one of the best colleges for an international student. The commute and the location also was a big factor that led me to choosing this college.

At Humber, we had a club called Ignite; there were all activities in college during our classes; they were food activities, free, food free, Wi-Fi obviously. I also played sports for College where I made new friends and the facilities were really nice, we were allowed to use the gym. There is always something happening.

I chose humber because it is one of the best schools for business here in Canada. Studying abroad has been really a good decision. I’ve met a lot of people from different path of the world. So cultural diversity is a major factor here. Besides the college experience so far has been really good and I am looking forward to making more memories.

There are multiple events and clubs in the college. There is a club called as ignite. Besides that multiple events happen throughout the year.
