  • I used facebook marketplace to find the accommodation. My monthly rent was $900, including utilities and wifi. HydroElectricity, gas and wifi, along with laundry (dryer and washer), a microwave, fridge and a little bit of furniture like a sofa, a tea table and a dining table.
  • Look for a place in the area of north york near by don mills subway station. That way students can easily access college and downtown toronto for part-time work.
  • My accommodation was around 5 km from college; however, it took 40 mins to 60 mins to reach there.

  • The retal cost can be estimated to be 600 to 900 CAD a month for Private room. I stayed with my friend so we shared a room and that costed me 450 including utilities

  • I found my accommodation through online rental websites, local facebook groups and agents. The main challenges were intense competition and limited affordable options near campus. I recommend starting early and exploring multiple platforms for the best results, even Facebook Marketplace and community groups.

  • I searched through an app called KIJIJI, my monthly rent was 500 canadian dollars.
  • Well the places are really hard to find, like we were not sure about the behaviour of landlords, how responsible they are, or how they gonna treat us, this thing is really challenging, and then finding the neat and clean room comes after that, this is the only was to look through online apps, it was 10 km away

  • Search methods - Marketplace, Kijiji, or friends.
  • Challenges - Be careful before moving into any place, as the environment of the house and the company you keep matters the most, especially when you are away from home.
  • Recommendation - Find a Srilankan or Chinese house owner as they give you good amenities in the house like wifi and other utilities and cheaper rent than an Indian house owner. (experience may differ for individuals.)

So, my first reason for choosing this course was the cost it was the cheapest among all colleges, and they had a coop for last semester. So, I saved money for the last semester as I didn't have to pay fees to them due to coop.

I chose this college because it offers great knowledge with valuable courses, and it's one of the affordable colleges for international students. I believe overall my college is a great college, and my program is very demanding. Being a student at Lambton College makes me proud. I would recommend this college to other people to also come and study at this college.

1. Affordable. One of the cheapest in Canada. 2. Located in Ontario. 3. Sarnia campus has lower cost of living. 4. College reputation is good. 5. It is good. I love the technology being used and integrated to the modern times of education — learning management system, lockdown exams, etc. I can also see activities happening around the campus. Services and facilities are also available.

Docs needed are - SOP, CV & Letter of Recommendation Different curriculum from what I’ve already studied Co-Op Opportunities 2 Year Programme The students are diverse compared to other colleges and overall, it is pretty nice as the courses are pretty good and there are 2 year and coop opportunities which are rare nowadays for colleges
