BITSAT 2026 campus reporting runs from July 28 to July 30, 2026, and all students who have frozen their seat must arrive at their allotted campus — Pilani, Goa, or Hyderabad — to complete joining formalities.

The campus reporting window is the final step in the BITSAT 2026 admission process. During this period, students undergo document verification, biometric registration, and photo capture for their identity cards. Orientation-I follows on July 31, the first semester begins August 1, and regular classes start August 3 across all three campuses.

Step-by-Step Joining Formalities

Complete each step in sequence to ensure a smooth reporting experience and avoid last-minute delays.

1. Pay the admission fee of INR 60,500 online through the BITS admissions portal before your iteration’s payment deadline. Do not wait until you reach campus as there is no cash payment facility at the reporting desk.
2. Submit your Class 12 final marks on the admissions portal by July 24, 2026, if you have not done so after your board result was declared.
3. Download and print your seat allotment letter from the portal. Carry it on reporting day as proof of confirmed admission.
4. Arrange all original documents and prepare self-attested photocopies at least two days before your travel date.
5. Arrive at your allotted campus — Pilani, Goa, or Hyderabad — on your chosen day between July 28 and July 30, 2026.
6. Report to the document verification counter between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Queues build up early so plan to arrive by 9:00 AM.
7. Submit photocopies for retention and present originals for verification. Originals are checked and returned to you at the counter.
8. Complete biometric registration. Your fingerprints and a face photograph are captured for your BITS identity card.
9. Attend Orientation-I on July 31. This session is mandatory for all students who have completed their reporting formalities.
10. Complete course registration on August 1 through the BITS ERP portal when the first semester formally opens.

Fees to Pay Before Reporting

All fees must be paid online before you travel to campus. No cash payments are accepted during the physical reporting process at any of the three BITS campuses.

Students allotted seats through Iteration IV must pay the admission fee by July 25, 2026. A seat stands cancelled if the fee is not paid within the deadline. Hostel and mess fee amounts and payment instructions will be communicated separately by each campus before the reporting window opens.

What to Expect at Campus

Here is a day-by-day breakdown of the campus reporting period and the days that follow.

July 28–30 (Forenoon: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) — Document Verification and Biometric Registration
Document verification is conducted in batches at the reporting counter. You submit photocopies and your original documents are checked and returned to you on the spot. Following this, biometric data — fingerprints and a face photograph — is captured for your BITS identity card. The entire forenoon process typically takes one to two hours depending on queue size. Arriving early helps you avoid long waits.

July 30 (Afternoon) — “Life at BITS” for Parents
Parents and family members who accompany students on July 30 are invited to an interactive session with campus administrators and the Associate Dean of Student Welfare. This session covers hostel life, academic expectations, student support services, and campus norms. Parents do not need to attend on any other day.

July 31 — Orientation-I
All students who have completed reporting formalities must attend Orientation-I, which is mandatory. The session covers the academic calendar, course registration process, grading system, extracurricular opportunities, and hostel rules. Specific timing and venue details will be shared by the respective campus administration before the date.

August 1 — Semester Begins and Course Registration Opens
The first semester of the 2026 academic year formally begins on August 1. Students must log in to the BITS ERP portal and register for their first-semester courses on this date. Login credentials and the exact registration process will be explained during Orientation-I. Missing course registration on August 1 can delay your academic start, so complete it on the opening day itself.

August 3 — Classes Begin
Regular lectures start across all three campuses — Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad — on August 3, 2026.
