BITSAT 2025 Marks vs Rank:  BITSAT marks vs rank analysis can help students to estimate their rank in the entrance test as per the marks obtained. However, the candidates are advised to focus more on the BITSAT cutoff instead of the ranks. Admissions at BITS are granted solely based on the score obtained by the candidates who appeared in the exam. Students often aspire to score at least 225 out of 450 to secure a place at BITS

BITSAT Marks vs Rank will help the engineering and pharmacy students to predict their rank and eligible campuses that will grant them admission on the basis of the marks secured. This understanding helps the students to get an idea of where they need to take admission at the time of BITSAT counselling.

What is the BITSAT Qualifying Marks 2025?

BITSAT consists of 4 sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English + LR. As of 2025, it has 130 objective-type questions and the duration is 3 hours, and the total marks are 390. The paper is divided into 4 parts, but none of them is time-bound; you can use any amount of time in any section

Sections Subjects No. of Questions
Part I Physics 30
Part II Chemistry 30
Part III English Proficiency 10
Logical Reasoning 20
Part IV Mathematics/Biology 40
Total Number of Questions 130

Part I is Physics with 30 questions, Part II is Chemistry with 30 questions, and Part III is a mix of English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning with 10 and 20 questions, respectively. Then Part IV is Mathematics or Biology with 40 questions, which is the most. For B.E., mathematics is required, while for B.Pharma, Biology is required.

  • Marking Scheme: +3 marks for every correct answer and -1 for every wrong answer.
  • Extra Questions: If a candidate solves all 130 questions within the given time, they can unlock 12 extra questions for bonus marks. So if a candidate attempts the extra 12 questions, they get +3 marks for each question, and their maximum total marks would be 390+36 = 426.
  • Qualifying Marks: These are the minimum marks required for qualifying the exam, which are decided by the organizing committee after the exam. These are the minimum marks you need to secure a seat in some branch of some BITS campus.
