BITSAT 2025: Session 2 Exam Starts, Admit Card Out, Result, Counselling and Cut off

BITS Pilani has released an online application form on its official website. The last date to fill up and submit the registration form on or before April 18, 2025. Candidates can download and check details about the admission process in the brochure that is available on its official website.

For admission into the MBA program at BITS Pilani, candidates are required to appear for the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT) conducted by BITS Pilani. Candidates will be shortlisted for a Personal Interview based on their performance in the BAAT.

In addition to BAAT, BITS Pilani also accepts scores from CAT 2022, XAT 2023, and GMAT exams for MBA-BA Admission 2023. Please note that meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee admission into the programme.

Students at BITS, Pilani, can choose their own course to fit their interests and professional aspirations, unlike at IIT. BITS Pilani focuses on research and innovation methodology in their teaching methodology, which distinguishes it from other universities, including IITs. Two sessions—Session I from May 19–24, 2024, and Session II from June 22–26, 2024—will comprise the BITSAT 2024 exam. Applicants may enrol in one or both sessions.

Candidates have a specific amount of time after the BITSAT exam to apply for admission to any of the four BITS Pilani campuses. Usually, the announcement of the BITSAT results coincides with the admissions determination timetable. After the campus selection and counselling process, the final admission is confirmed and seats are allotted. The institute will announce the date of joining after the completion of all these processes. 

BITSAT stands for the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test.

Here are the steps to take for admission to BITSAT:

2. Complete the online application.
3. Upload the necessary files
4. Online payment of the application fee is required.
5. Be careful with your application number, password, and login information.
   
   In order to be admitted via BITSAT, you have to fulfil the following requirements for eligibility:
   1) Pass the class 12 exam 
   2) Obtain a minimum of 75% in the combined subjects of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with at least 60% in each.
   3) Fulfil the minimal standards for grades, educational background, and needed subjects

The following tips can help you do well on the BITSAT exam:

1. Practice solving as many mock tests and previous-year practice papers as you can. This will help you familiarize with the format and nature of the exam questions.
2. Have the right books - Grab the top BITSAT books. The finest books for BITSAT are thought to be NCERT publications.
3. Understand the paper pattern thoroughly before you start – Every right answer receives three marks, while every wrong answer costs one mark. Answer only if you are sure. Do not aim to get negative marks. 
4. Time management - Use your time wisely. Since all have equal weight, start with the simpler questions.
5. Try the right section first - Start by trying the portion of the paper in which you feel most comfortable.

You can apply your problem-solving abilities from mathematics to other topics and careers. You may develop your analytical and logical reasoning skills with mathematics. Jobs in banking, e-commerce, finance, and teaching can all be attained through mathematics. In domains such as computer science, applied mathematics, and pure mathematics, mathematicians can function as research scientists. With a degree in mathematics, you can work as a market researcher, math instructor, purchasing manager, insurance underwriter, financial planner, investment analyst, statistician, or financial analyst, among other professions.

There will be two sessions for the BITSAT in 2024: session 1 will take place from May 19–24, 2024, and session 2 from June 22–26, 2024. Applicants may enrol in one or both sessions.

BITS Pilani, apart from the main campus in Pilani, Rajasthan, has three other campuses in Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai. The students are provided with a range of facilities by the institute, which include the following:

The required fee must be paid by the candidates when completing the BITSAT application form. The BITSAT application fee is INR 2,900 (for female students) and INR 3,400 (for male candidates) for a single session.

2. Select the Login link.
3. Enter your date of birth, gender, email address, and mobile number.
4. Select Login.
5. The status of your application form will appear on the screen.

a) It is required of students to receive at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics on their 12th class exams.

b) In the 12th grade exam, the student should have received at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology if they took Biology in  BITSAT.

c) Applicants must have a BITSAT score based on the current cutoff released.
