Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as:
- For General candidates: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
- For SC/ST, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and North Eastern states: The Qualifying Marks is relaxed by 10% i.e. 60% in PCM for applicants belong to SC/ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura.
- Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01.07.2004 are eligible to apply.

Likes
- Considering campus life, it is very good. You get a lot of exposure and can make friends for life with those who match your vibe.
- The college gives same importance to sports and cultural activities as well which is very nice.
Dislikes
- The classrooms doesn't have an AC which makes it difficult to attend classes in summer. There is construction going on always which makes it difficult at times to focus on your work.
- The sports ground is a bit small and hard to find place to place at peak hours.Also the equipment college provides isn't sufficient you need to have your own.
Fees and Financial Aid:
I got admitted in category 2 according to my PCM marks in my intermediate. My fee is 1,59,000( for first 3 years) and 1,61,000 and 1,65,000 (for fifth year). For category 1 the fee is 96,000 and for category 2 it is 1,96,000. It increases by 2k and 3k in 4th and 5th year respectively. A caution deposit of 2k(non refundable) is added to your first year fee, and there is no extra fee apart from that. College doesn't provide any scholarship apart from JVD to deserving AP students but anyhow it encourages students to apply for various private scholarship exams. The college doesn't give any concssion to minorities anr there is no abolihment of fees for any category of students. The fee is cmpletely based on the rank and category you got based on your IPE PCM percentage.
Likes
- The hostel rooms and the mess are excellent for all students. They serve the food with good taste.
- The classrooms and labs are well maintained.
Dislikes
- They serve some food items in limited quantity.
- They are strict rules as we cannot be outside hostel block after 8:30PM.

The Fee structure for the Integrated MTech in Software Engineering at VIT-AP University is destined to provide flexibility based on category of admission. The program lasts for five years, and the fee varies slightly across the years and categories. Tution Fees in the University has divided into three categories based on merit or rank of the student. The tution fee is divided into three categories as follows: Category 1: 1st-3rd year: 96000 per year 4th year: 98000 5th year: 101200 Category 2: 1st-3rd year: 159000 per year 4th year: 161000 5th year: 164200 Category 3: 1st-3rd year: 192000 per year 4th year: 194000 5th year: 197200 Additional fees: Caution deposit: A one-time refundable caution deposit of 2000 is required at the time of admission. Hostel fees: It varies based on the room type selected. AC room approx 80000 Non AC room approx 50000 Mess fees is seperate for veg and non-veg.

- The college is pretty good the good thing is we can choose faculty of our choice.
- we can have a lot of freedom in the campus.

- there is no proper seating arrangement for the students in the leisure time.
- many clubs are present in the university but there are no practice areas for students. we don't even have a room for dance practice.

The fee structure is divided into 3 categories for the students who apply to this course by their inter marks, in category 1 we can see fees arounf 1 lakh per year 2nd category 1.5lakh per year and 3rs category 2lakh per year. i got selected in first category with 96k as fees for 1st 3 years and 98k for the 4th year and 1lakh1thousand for 5th year. there is a registration fees of 2000 to be paid along with the 1st year fees. there is ony scholarship called JVD which is only for the students who apply through eamcet counselling their fees for this course is 75000 and government will pay the fees for casts like SC and ST. and there ar no extra charges for this course

- The security at VIT AP University ensures the safety of students, faculty, and staff on campus. They patrol the premises and monitor entry points to maintain a secure environment.No one can enter to the college with permission from the security.
- The teachers at VIT AP University are really smart and helpful. They teach us a lot of things and are always there to answer our questions.
Dislikes
- At VIT AP, there's no air conditioning in some areas.
- If any person failed in an exam, they have to pay ₹6000 to complete supplement exam.

The fees at VIT AP University might go up a little each year. You have to pay for tuition, services, and other stuff to study here. If you need help paying for school, there are scholarships and financial aid you can apply for. They have different names and amounts, so ask the school for more info. There are also jobs on campus for students. The jobs can be different, and you might get paid for them depending on how much you work. You can ask the student services office if you want to work on campus.

- The campus environment is the one thing that I liked here. We have a lot of students coming all over from India anf and you can also find some students from abroad.
- Fully flexible system, where you can choose your subjects, professors and timings
Dislikes
- Location of the campus is a disadvantage, as it's too far from the city
- Fee is a bit high for some courses. If the student is not from eapcet then he must pay more amount of money

Fee structure is of three categories mostly. For btech it ranges from 1.5 lakh to 4lakh. And for integrated mtech it ranges from 96k to 1.9 lakh. The average package is 8.3 lpa and the highest package this year stands around 33lpa. We have a very good employment opportunities

- Climate is too hot in summer and too cool in winter
- There no transportation near university. prices of auto is too high

The fee structure for my course is approx 1,00,000 per year espescially in vit ap there is a scholarship from the govt of ap only for the students who came through EAPCET ad there are additional rewards will be present to the student who secure the top cgpa every year

If we want to join the university through its entrance exam, we want to score well then our fees will be low and they will have the fee structure based on the Rank, we got in vit entrance exam. I'm getting a scholarship from the government of AP. The university doesn't provide any kind of scholarships.
