As for Mechanical specifically-

The Mechanical faculty consists of professors from IIT Bombay, and other highly skilled academicians.
The curriculum is the same as that of IIT Bombay Mechanical.
The department has separate labs for different courses. The lab equipment is either new or from the IIT Bombay labs.
Prof. Prabhu of the Mechanical Department is a highly respected faculty member at IIT Bombay. He is very hardworking and learned. He has over 2000 citations.
The peers of Mechanical are very friendly and cooperative.
