- All the staff members of the Institute having the requisite minimum qualifications and one-year experience at the Institute level can work on a part-time basis for Ph.D. / M.Tech by Research or M.Phil

Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) is an online MCQ-based entrance examination conducted by the VIT Group of Institutions for admissions to PhD and Direct PhD courses. - 75% attendance policy is not good. They consider you on leave only when you are admitted to hospital, otherwise you are marked absent.
- Exams and quizzes are conducted frequently. So many assignments are given every week.

To take admission in college, you have to clear VITEEE exam and must have 60% marks in 10th and 12th class. Based on your VITEEE exam rank you are allotted categories and branches. You can prefer college if you are getting good brand in category 1 or category 2

I prepared for JEE in which I scored 97 percentile since the cutoff was too high i was not able to get good branches in nit and I scored 93 percent in my board exams through which I got anna university Guindy but i was interested in ecm so I got here

I had to choose this college as there were no other colleges to choose from like I did get into some decent universities like Srm and pes uni but it was too late by then soo I pretty much had no choisse . I was actually a jee prep student obviously against my will and obv didn't get into them and obviously I have zero regrets but yeah . The admission process of but is pretty straight forward , you will have to write the comman entrance exam called the viteee and you will be placed a certain rank there and based on those ranks and whatever categories you can afford you will be able to choose the most suitable option for yourself

- Overpriced food in canteen and unhygenic at times
Admission:
I chose this college for the opportunity and affordability of the course i took. Eligibility is just ti get a good percentage in pcm in 12th above 90 would be enough to get in category 2 but again competetion increases every year
Likes
- They offer us flexible slot choosing. You can choose your own class timings
- They have credit systems where each course has a credits and are to completed at the end of the course
Dislikes
- Have strict dress code for girls. Can’t wear sleeveless and dresses above your ankles
- You gotta walk a lot in the campus from hostel to other buildings
Admission:
I choose this college because I had no other choice this was the only college I got into. I didn't make it to jee nor neet . Only my boards results were good . So this was the only course I could choose. The admission process was quite easy . Based on your percentage in the main subjects you can choose the course and fee
Likes
- The moot court society and the placement cell has seen an improvement from when I joined. There are better placement opportunities and a lot of moot courts that encourage us to participate. The debate society is also very active.
- The college has a good infrastructure. All law classrooms are air conditioned. All basic amenities are also available within the campus like shops, salons, etc.
Dislikes
- Engagement in college life and fests could be better. Engineering students have a much better social life and more activities. However comparatively fests and college social life could be better.
- There exists very good and approachable faculties but at the same time there comes up a shortage of faculties which is often filled up by research scholars who are not well versed with the subjects and creates a lack in the teaching quality.
Admission:
The admission to the college is based on our CLAT/LSAT scores followed by an interview and a group discussion round. I gave my LSAT scores for admission. The interview and group discussion session was headed by two professors who were friendly and approachable. I got admission in other colleges including Jindal and NMIMS, however the fee structure was the reason I didn't choose them. VIT was also recommended in my CLAT coaching centre as one of the better private law colleges. I did not get admission into any of the NLUs. I did however manage to secure admission in another pretty good college known as CUSAT in my hometown itself, however I wanted to study outside my hometown which is Kerala, which is another reason I chose VIT
Likes
- the campus is huge and green and beautiful
- the opportunities are NUMEROUS and you can explore tons of options
Dislikes
- mess food is not the best altho edible, options are there
- the favulty is not very good, especially for freshers
Admission:
i got the best price and the best course here and therefore i applied, moreover vit has a brand value and a good history of placements. it was recommended by many and had great rankings, thays what led me to choose this university
Likes
- The best features of my college is the educational structure
- The advanced amenities like several food stalls,gym, saloon etc.,.
Dislikes
- The college demands fees for everything including the smallest function
- Very strict rules and unequal treatment between girls and boys
Admission:
For Law we have to write the national level entrance exam. VIT accepts both CLAT and LSAT. I chose this college due to its reputation,amenities and placement packages. I had gotten placement in several other universities like symbiosis and Jindals but I opted VIT due to its proximity.

After the completion of VITEEE 2024, it is expected that the results will be announced in May 2024. Probably it will be released on May 3, 2024. The tentative VITEEE dates are from April 19, 2024 to April 30, 2024.
The reporting time of VITEEE may vary according to the cities. However, it will be mentioned on the admit card which you receive. Besides this, the exam duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes. The examination will be conducted in 120 India centres and 4 centers out of India.
The application fee of VITMEE is INR 1200 for M.Tech. and 1299 for MCA course. The application fee can be paid through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or any Payment mode except cash.
