The curriculum is well built for the current industry and they do change or edit the curriculum every year. Frequency of exams are a little bit high. You wont get any free time till the end of the semester.

The course is very very relevant. Being a electronics and computer stream student we are taught the core electronics as well as core cse subjects which definitely helps us to learn a lot and clears our concepts. The exam structure also is pretty good.

I am in the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch and I would say there's great many things to learn here. We are taught from basic things like Analog electronics to advanced things like VLSI system Design etc. Although there's still improvements to be done here as advancements happen in this sector every year so we need to cope up a bit with the out dated curriculum.

The course is well structured and the curriculum that is being followed this year was prepared and implemented in 2021. So the course is comprehensive and up to date. There are three exams and difficulty level is moderate and with basic understanding of the the topics one can score good marks. The student is well prepared for job or higher education when he/she graduates.

The curriculum includes concepts from both electronics and computers. Since I did not want to go purely into CSE or EEE, I thought this course will be perfect for me. As mentioned the curriculum teaches students both fields' knowledge and hence can work in both type of fields and have an expertise on both. The teaching methods vary by professor and can be improved by forcing everyone to use more visual based teaching. There are 2 internals and 1 Semester exams. Internals are written for 50 mks and is reduced to 15 mks and Semester exam is written for 100mks and is reduced to 40 mks. The rest of the 30 mks come from Digital Assignments/Quizzes. I feel like there could be an additional optional improvement internals to improve the overall grade in each course.

Faculty Student ratio is 1:65. Only PhD qualified professors are appointed in the campus. Most of the cases teaching faculty will be good but some may be bad but professors are very knowledgeable. There are 2 cats and a Fat Cat 1 is done 2nd month of semester which is closed book exam and cat 2 is conducted on second half 3 th month and fat(Final exams) are conducted on 5th month and mostly you will pass the examination if you write something based the subject and question point of view but some faculty may fail you.
