placements opportunities provided by VIT is very good and encouraging even though many companies offer >50L which is a decent pacakage to kick start your career and also college provids placemnet training.

- Too many exams 😭 are there here like only one month gap

Nothing much I was interested in data that's it I don't see any improvements yett but there may be int the coming future maybe making the syllabus renewed may help but that won't be done I think so teaching methods cary teacher to teacher that can't be changed

- The faculties here are highly skilled and helpful
- The labs and infrastructure are top notch and the curriculum are updated as per engineering colleges
- VIT provides placements to all its students in which more than 50% are super dream offers
Dislikes
- The rules and restrictions here are strict
- They conduct 2 mid sem along with final semester exam which makes the schedule quite hectic
- Outing and leaves rules are very strict here and girl is to boy ration is 1:3
Placement Experience:
During the start of 7th sem , students starts sitting for campus placements.
Companies like Google , microsoft, infosys, meta visit here and take students on the basis of their skills .
The highest package was 1cr and average is around 10-11 lpa
Almost 100 % students get placed by the end of the course.
I would like to sit for placement as of now.

- Academically, teachers are very well qualified and serious about their jobs so teaching is at par with best engineering institutes in india if not better. Courses are mostly relevant and unnecessary subjects are removed unlike many other colleges.
- Campus is very beautiful and has almost every facility. 5 eateries including Domino's, library, health centre, parlour, atm, grocery shops, swimming pool, gym(paid and unpaid). Food at eateries are good and reasonably priced.
- Has all sports facilities, like lawn tennis court, basketball court, table tennis tables, cricket/football courts, volleyball court, badminton court. Both inside and outside hostel at that.
Dislikes
- Charging fees for everything,like fests, hackathons and workshops even after paying a huge amount of fees. Most colleges offer fests, workshops and hackathons for free
- Overall college is very strict. 75% attendance is very very strictly implemented and so are all other rules. Hostel wardens and teachers, everyone is strict. Restrictions in clothing, outings and leaves are also seen here.
- Exams are so frequent that we hardly get time for self development or building other skills. For 9 pointers, attandance doesn't matter so they can. For others, life is very hectic.
Placement Experience:
Placement record of vit chennai is good enough. Students become eligible for campus placement about 5th semester onwards, they start getting PPOs. From 7th semester they get job offers from companies.
From mass recruitment companies like wipro, tcs, Infosys,to small startups, to big companies like Amazon, microsoft, to PSUs like pgcil, ongc, all kinds of companies visit here. The number of mass recruitment is very high though. If you are lucky and talented enough you will crack 8lpa+ job. Highest package typically goes around 40-50 lpa and lowest is around 2-3lpa. Average is 8.5 lpa approx.
Many students do not sit for placements. They go for exams or higher studies or change their fields. If you want to be placed try keeping 8+ cgpa.
Among students who sit for placement, i would say around 90% are placed. Everybody cracks almost some job or the other.
My plans after getting degree is to sit for college placements and work and hope for the best.

- The faculties are well experienced and highly qualified
- The infrastructure is also good. College provides many facilities to students in terms of sports.

- The rules in VIT are taken very strictly like 75% attendance rule
- Going for outings or leaves is one of the difficult task. Because for going outing we have to take approval from our proctors and after their approval only we can go
- The crowd in VIT is too much every year their intake is increasing

For college placement, the students are eligible from 7th semester. The students who are not having any backlogs and having 6+ cgpa are eligible. The companies like Microsoft, Motorq, texas Instrument, intel, qualcomm etc visit for placements. Last year the highest package was 1cr and average was around 1100000pa. Mostly students get placed in some companies, my plan is also to get decent placement from the college

- the placement is pretty sure good as most have jobs only less percentage of the student remain unemployed after the college
- there is no ragging inside the college campus the seniors are very supportive and does not create problem to junior but also helps in certain cases
- there are many types of opportunities to grow to be better and in that case they are very supportive

- there is a large portion of teachers from tamil speakers and solve personally problems of the students in tamil only same for management they kind of support more to those kind of peopel rather being being equal to all
- outing is limited and have to take permission from a proctor assigned to you
- sports facilities are there but not good no big football field no cricket field not great ground even no grass very less equipment and of low quality as vell

there are good placement apportunites and on campus placement are there and 10lakh+ offers are made and many companies visit the collegesatleat 80 percentage get placed anfd mt after plans are to get job and start earning heighest is 1cr and average is 7-8 lakh students get alligible 3rd year start

Placements were pretty decent till Covid period and after that a sudden drop was seen
Companies starts to come in the campus from 7th semester starting onwards

- Infrastructure and availability of opportunities is more than expected. It is upto the students to make good use of it.
- Hostel facilities and other facilities are made with the students as priority. Permission is available for hostellers for going on Friday prayers without any disturbances. Even fasting facilties for muslim students are made.
- No discrimination on any basis at all. A very good environment for becoming the best version of yourself. Many social opportunities are available.
Dislikes
- The grading system is not equal for all. It cannot be considered a metric for the brilliance of a student.
- Students should'nt expect faculty to train well. Though most faculty strive and do their job diligently, some faculty are not so good. Choose your faculty with consultation from seniors.
- The curriculumn is a bit fast paced. You are expected to learn and adapt quick, if you are to score well.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from 6th semester. Almost all the students get placed, around 95 %.
Packages vary from 4 LPA to 88 LPA.
I plan to pursue higher studies after my degree and will actively look for startup opportunities.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
This academic year, Atlassian is the employer with the highest salary on offer to Amrita students, with a staggering 52 lakhs offered annually. Microsoft offered 43 lakhs per year in salary, while Cisco hired 27 students at a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per year.
According to the most recent report, the highest and average compensation packages offered during the 2022 placement drive were INR 19.17 LPA and INR 6.72 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, in 2022, 93 recruiters participated in the placement process, placing 261 students in new-age job profiles. Accenture, Adobe, Infosys, EY, KPMG, and others were among Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's top recruiters in 2022.
