The college provides excellent placement and training and the average package is around 3-4 lpa

placement training starts from 5th semester. visiting companies are ICICI bank, deloitte , hdfc and other 40 companies . the average package is 3lpa and dream offer is 6lpa. almost all the students who are eligible and poses skills get placed.

Is VIT worth it

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

My insights on Vit Chennai

The placements will take place in the main campus I.e Vellore. In 2024 there were 867 companies that visited. Highest CTC 88LPA and average CTC was 9.9LPA. There were a total of 8k offers. The good thing about this college is we will easily get placed in any IT companies. But getting a core job is quite difficult. The regulars are TCS, Cognizant, Nokia, Shell, Intel, PayPal etc. Specfic training's will be provided for all the procedures to be followed during placements. I am planning on doing my masters in aerospace engineering abroad.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for the placements, The companies that visited the campus were TCS, Wipro, Coginzant and other popular service and product based companies, the average package would be 10LPA as far as I know from the website and others.

Talking abt placements placements of college are decent with average package of 6-7 lpa but jowadays market is going is very low as compared to before so students are not getting placed but this should change after some years

CSE AT VIT CHENNAI

Placement is one of the strong parts and VIT Chennai as of now every year almost 90 to 95% of the students get placed in which 10 to 15% students have an average package of around 20 to 30 LPA and the highest package being near 60 to 70 LPA and the mass recruiter package is ranging from 7 to 12 LPA. if the student wants to opt for higher studies, VIT Chennai E is also very strong at its alumni with many international universities, such as University of California.

Usually students from 6th semester to 8th semester are eligible for placements. Variety of companies have landed on our college for recruitment, namely, Amazon, Microsoft, Paypal, Walmart, Google, TCS Adobe, Accenture, Wipro etc. In 2023, the highest package offered was 1.02 Crores per annum. and the average seems to be at 9 lakhs per annum. I don't have the details of per company statistics. about 85% to 90% of the students get placed in VIT. My plans after degree would be to gain some work experience for 2 years and then pursue for masters.

They provid placment for 4th year students.Companies visit are Google, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS. Percent of students getting placment are very less. The highest package last year was 52 lakhs. I have planed for higher studies I am going to do MBA.

The highest salary packages (27 LPA or above) were made by Microsoft, Paypal, Udaan, Dyte, Work India, DE Shaw, Morgan Stanley, Amazon. Besides this, the highest number of offers were made by Microsof (21 offers) followed by Paypal (13) and Amazon (13).
