Nsp,clg scholarships are available.the fee hike policy is also nice
Maximum all students get good placement and internships.so many companies visited like google amazon etc.my plans after getting degree to go abroad
Faculty members are highly qualified.many of them have completed their their education and has phd in the top institutions in india like iit madras, bombay, roorkee etc.faculty is very friendly and is always approachable

Dislikes

Some of the clubs are not active because of not sufficient students
In afternoons i'm getting irritated when i stay in hostel.
The bathrooms were neat and cleaned daily, but lizards will disturb me and make me feels discomfort.

What's in IIT PALAKKAD???

I firstly like the environment of my campus/institute it is situated between a decent forest which is well protected and it is ever green and everyday.We can get fresh air and we can be relief of stress and enjoy nature.
Coming to infrastructure of the institute,it is descent and well designed in kerela's traditional way so it looks pretty well and the classroom are also quite good and provide better environment for studying
Our institute is spread over nearly 3 kilometres south we have have bus facility which is free of cost to roam within the campus,for every 20-30 minutes there will be bus to transport.

Dislikes

Our campus not finished the construction yet of new buildings so we can't get those facilities which I felt bad personally.
We don't have a huge ground to play around any outdoor game we only have a football stadium and volleyball stadium not much of other things
The most important thing is that the weather here keeps changing everyday and we can't predict what kind of weather would be tomorrow so it is uneasy to adjust

Placement Experience:

Every year a lot of companies come to our institute and offer decent packages as per the projects done by students and seeing their academics.The average package for CSE is like 14,00,000 per year and highest package was 46,00,000 which was given in the year 2022-2023.The percentage of placements is around 92% every year which is quite good

Many fests will be conducted frequently which are conducted by students where you can have lot of fun
sports activities are getting improved and gc will be conducted every semester
surrounding of the college has a nice sceneary

Dislikes

quality of food and taste of food is not good sometimes
eventhough it is kerala , the climate sometimes will be very hot too difficult to handle
mess timings are also not good .these timings should be extended

Placement Experience:

placements are good with placement rate around 95 . and average package of 1200000.but for the batch of b20 placements are not upto the mark due to recession. u can get names of campanies and no of offers in college website in detail

The campus life is good in the face faculty or nice on the placement course also good and percentage it is nice the infrastructure is still constructing so it will be good in coming years.
We are also talks at least 2 per week so they are good and different people come to address and different issues it is nice one
The nature is good like a we have nice weather in the evening.

Dislikes

I have to adapt to the food because here they don't is my spices in my state they have you so we have to adjust for this
if you have to go to hotels if we nearby but not total inside the hostel

MY BROTHER SUGGESTED ME TO TAKE THOS COURCE.HE WAS ALSO DOING THE SAME COURCE AND DSE IS DEVELOPING MORE NOW A DAYS. I AM ALSO INTRESTED IN AI SO I PREFDERED THIS COURSE. I SUGGEST TO IMPROVE IN MATHEMATICS IT IS NECESSARY TO THIS COURCE AND THE FACILITY IS GOOD FOR THIS COURCE. THERE ARE 2 SEMESTERS PER YEAR AND EXAMS ARE BASED ON SEMESTERS.

Decent for a third gen IIT

Nature and environment around the campus
The students who join make the campus great

Dislikes

Mess food is not spicy. Bad cooking style
Students may copy in the exams. GPA is relative

Placement Experience:

Placements are just average. Pre placement offers are also available. Due recession this year placement percentage has decreased. Average package is around 15 LPA. Around 90 offers have been received.

IIT PKD College life

Likes

There are many places to visit in Kerala , in spiritual way and also enjoymental way.
The curriculum of our course is aligned very perfect so that we can study very clearly.
We have a good faculty, great experienced professors.

Dislikes

Food in mess is not nice and I doesn't get any taste.
The infrastructure of college i.e, there are many constructions going on and also restrictions.
The standard of the examinations is very low which means that the questions are very easy to do .

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are not good as expected. Very few students who study well will get the job in campus interviews and mostly for high packages students go off campus. Even though the highest package may be less but the percentage of students getting job is very good and it maintains consistently.

Diversity of people is huge and you can have many like-minded people.

Dislikes

Probably you have to walk quite a bit to get to your dept.

You have to join an internship as it's mandatory for your skills. College helps you get internships from their side in 3rd year but you can also get it in 2nd year. Many big MNC comes to college. And around 92% get placed and 5% opt for higher studies.
