Pros and Cons of my College

Likes

Few of the teachers are really helpful and encourage us to ask doubt whenever we feel like it. They do not scold or feel burdened to help us.
Emphasises on extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

In the computer labs most of the computers are not working which created an issue for the student
Multiple functions are arranged on a daily basis in the college campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since IT sector is enormously growing nowadays so it peaked my interest to study the IT field hence I chose computer science engineering. Through CSE we can learn the computational work and the coding problem which helps us to get jobs in high paying companies. Web development, data scientists, data analysts etc are some the high paying professions that we can acquire through CSE. The only improvement needed is the practicing of more coding related problems which will enhance our skills. Also the timing of exams is of 3hours which is enough to attempt all the questions, be it difficult or easy. Though some of the questions might tend to test our mental ability and might be tricky but the timing of 3 hours is enough.

Royal Global University: A hub for everything

Likes

The faculty and their behaviour towards students is really good. They are friendly and knowledgeable.
Events organised in the university are in abundance and the fun never stops here.

Dislikes

The wifi isnt provided to all and even if it is, it mostly is slow.
The students here have very high attitude and judge people even on the first visit.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements is a subject which has very varied answers depending on who we ask. There are placement rounds going on in the university and people do get placed but it is seldom. We are not given a good idea of how many companies visit or what is the average package offered. But the placement rounds begin from 4th year only. We get compulsory internships after the end of every even semester.

Likes

The infrastructure of the university is immensely comfortable for the students to concentrate better . Clean washroom which they often clean .
Provided with best classroom having air conditioner and digital projector with the finest desk and bench to attend the lecture

Dislikes

They must give fair enough of gap between the subjects during the exam period ,which is needed the most
the university must reschedule its routine because their are lots of fee classes between the classes

Placement Experience:

As far as i heard from my senior and friends from another department the canpus placement if good enough for a university which isnt evan twenty years old . and yes by the 3rd year yhe students are usually exposed to the internship and campus placement opportuinities ,the Assam royal global universty has been visited and partnered with many good companies like Toyota, Redbull, Bajaj etc.At least out of 100% 40% of the students get good placement .and coming to my plane after gratuation i will try applying for competitive exam

Reality is seen when you go into detail

The infrastructure is really very good and the teachers from few departments are genuinely good in behaviour and also in their teaching process
Also I liked about rgu is events happening in the college such as concerts or any cultural activities

Dislikes

Unnecessary expenses such as money taken for freshers , farewell etc
Doesn't get much holidays in odd semesters and also don't get holidays much in few big festivals such as durga puja

I have studied economics in 11,12 as basics and I found interesting thought I can or h should go for this so I opted this course. Economics is a subject which will give you all the knowledge regarding the situations which are happening in day to day life. Teachers should provide some good amount of study material for us and also should provide ppt then explain to make us more clear and understand in a proper way.It is difficult as there should be 6 months for each semester but they conduct exams without 4 and half month and too much pressure and difficult level is more so many students including me cannot get good cgpa we always lack behind

Starting journey in RGU

Likes

Classes are taken seriously . You need to maintain the minimum attendence of 75% .
There are events literally every months .

Placement Experience:

The 4th year students becomes eligible for campus placement. I'm certainly in the 1st semester so not sure about the companies visiting but the placements and packages are good here. More than half of the students are placed in many good companies in india and some are also working abroad. After this degree I'm planning to do my masters.

UNVEILING THE VIBRANT CAMPUS LIFE AT ROYAL GLOBAL UNIVERSITY.

Likes

The University has heavy infrastructure which makes it look very good university, the university has many facilities for the students which benifit the students, the campus is full of green . The more activities should be added .
The University organise many events where we can interact with students studying on other departments.

Dislikes

The food I don't like in university because all the items are vegetarian.
The fees are high it can be less then it will be adorable for all the students .

Placement Experience:

The top recruiters of Royal Global University during placements 2023 were Wipro, UpGrad, Mahindra, Paytm, Newtech, Tata Motors, and many others. The 6th semester students are eligible for their placement. 100+ offers are made marico ,SBI life , Eicher etc. The average packaged offer is 5 lakh 60 % are getting placement. I will probably carry forward my study for masters.

The campus life is quite good, the infrastructure is something that must be appreciated, there are many canteens, food joints including roof top restaurant in the campus. Indoor and outdoor sports area is also provided.
E-gaming room available as well. Labs including a diagnostic lab where you can get your medical tests done, hotel lab, a huge library, quick shoppe, kurls and spykes salon, stationery shops, etc are also available

Dislikes

The teaching staff should have been better because that's the main point of attending college
75% attendance in every subject is mandatory otherwise they ban you from giving exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and books followed here are really relevant if you want to appear for competitive exams. Books from the authors like Rajeev Bhargava, OP Gauba, M. Laxmikant are followed here. I chose this course solely on the syllabus. Just the con is that few of the teachers don't know how to teach.

I liked the infrastructure,the compound is beautiful and clean, spreading across 27 acres
The teaching faculties are experienced and good

Dislikes

I didn’t like the fact that we have to sit in the university from 9AM till 5PM
Exam starts right after holiday breaks and we can’t even go to our hometown to celebrate festivals since we need to study for the exam

I chose this course because this is a job which I can do it independently , this course can help us make a powerful impact everyday and help people see a better life . Using of technology can make learning more engaging ,the teaching methods can be improved if they consider the student's learning styles and goals.

The Great College Royal Global University

Likes

The teachings of the teachers.They are pretty impressive
There are more than 10 canteens around the college in every floors.

Dislikes

They are very strict in attendance so u cannot miss a single class
Some facultys are very rude to the students

Improvemets are necessary in the course curriculum and teaching methods in tge real life world in order to teach the studemts more.about the outside world.The frequency and timing of exams is maximum 3hours along with my perspective.

Likes

Good infrastructure. There are variety of stalls inside the campus like food stalls and stationery.
A lot of different activities and competitions are put forward by the different clubs or departments of the university

Dislikes

Some foods and drinks which are sold inside the campus are overpriced.
Non functioning of the lift in some floors of the block or taking too much time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision of choosing this course was based on personal reasons majorly. Rather than that, I find this course really interesting. The syllabus till now have been all related with what we studied in high school and addition of further knowledge which will help us in our further studies.
