Likes
- Few of the teachers are really helpful and encourage us to ask doubt whenever we feel like it. They do not scold or feel burdened to help us.
- Emphasises on extra curricular activities.
Dislikes
- In the computer labs most of the computers are not working which created an issue for the student
- Multiple functions are arranged on a daily basis in the college campus
Faculty:
The student-teacher relationship is overall good. Every teacher is appointed to a specific subject. The students can approach the teacher whenever the feel like except for the lunch time. Some of the faculties I like are Dubari Sharma and Ankita agarawala because we can really look upto them and ask them any doubts without hesitating and they reply to our doubt in a calm and understanding manner. A faculty I do not like is Ishita Chakraborty because she is not very nice to students. She scolds the students pretty much every time. There are main exams held in every semester. First is the mid semester examinations which is of 20 marks and the second is the end term examinations which is of 70 marks and 30 marks are from internal assessment which makes it a total of 100 marks. Backlogs are a very often thing for certain students. Four to five students cannot clear the difficult exams and obtains a backlog in that particular subject. There are a total of 6 subjects in the 5th sem. They are Operating systems, principle of programming language, graph theory, constituition of India, communicative english, legal literacy(general elective) and software engineering.
Likes
- The faculty and their behaviour towards students is really good. They are friendly and knowledgeable.
- Events organised in the university are in abundance and the fun never stops here.
Dislikes
- The wifi isnt provided to all and even if it is, it mostly is slow.
- The students here have very high attitude and judge people even on the first visit.
Faculty:
The faculty members are quite friendly and approachable and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help us with university stuff and life values. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:10. There are 4 exams each year and 2 each semester. One is mid semester and another is end semester. Numerous other assignments are given in between the exams.
Likes
- The infrastructure of the university is immensely comfortable for the students to concentrate better . Clean washroom which they often clean .
- Provided with best classroom having air conditioner and digital projector with the finest desk and bench to attend the lecture
Dislikes
- They must give fair enough of gap between the subjects during the exam period ,which is needed the most
- the university must reschedule its routine because their are lots of fee classes between the classes
Faculty:
the Assam royal global faculties play a vital role in shaping the educational experience and future of the students here are some positive aspects of my college faculties, firstly faculy members are often experts in their field ,bringing extensive knowldege and research experience to the classroom ,proffersors and instructure provides guidance ,support and mentorshio nto students helping them navigate their academic and carrer paths ,with goood faculties

- The infrastructure is really very good and the teachers from few departments are genuinely good in behaviour and also in their teaching process
- Also I liked about rgu is events happening in the college such as concerts or any cultural activities
Dislikes
- Unnecessary expenses such as money taken for freshers , farewell etc
- Doesn't get much holidays in odd semesters and also don't get holidays much in few big festivals such as durga puja
Faculty:
Overall the interaction between our teachers and us is good no problem is there between us ,I personally liked Jugal sir who taught us Quantitative methods for economics his teaching was best as well as his behaviour towards the student was so good we all love and respect jugal sir and wish him all the happiness he deserves in life he is the best teacher in our entire department and I really appreciate sir. Smita maam I genuinely didn't liked her at all in the 2nd year that it 3,4 semester she taught us her behaviour was so bad and everytime she would go and complain against us that we did something that is why she is angry her behaviour was not good and she blamed us. Overall we have 2 exams one mid semester which is of 20 marks and the other is end semester which is 70 marks final exam ,it depends how many fails as he or she finds difficult in a particular subject.It is quite relevant
Likes
- Classes are taken seriously . You need to maintain the minimum attendence of 75% .
- There are events literally every months .
Faculty:
In each department there are more than 5 teachers . Each faculty member are approchable and student faculty relationship is nice over here. Our biochemistry teacher is my favorite one as he is veryhelpful but also strict at the same time. There is a mid semexamination and semester examination every semester . We have a total of 8 semesters.
Likes
- The University has heavy infrastructure which makes it look very good university, the university has many facilities for the students which benifit the students, the campus is full of green . The more activities should be added .
- The University organise many events where we can interact with students studying on other departments.
Dislikes
- The food I don't like in university because all the items are vegetarian.
- The fees are high it can be less then it will be adorable for all the students .
Faculty:
The faculty to student ratio is we have 2 teachers for one subjects which is enough. The teacher are good enough polite , helpful knowledgeable, motivator . All are good teacher I thought we don't have to judge them . We having 2 seasonal and 1 final In a semester . The Question are though but we can solve it nicely. Because our teachers though us very well.
Likes
- The campus life is quite good, the infrastructure is something that must be appreciated, there are many canteens, food joints including roof top restaurant in the campus. Indoor and outdoor sports area is also provided.
- E-gaming room available as well. Labs including a diagnostic lab where you can get your medical tests done, hotel lab, a huge library, quick shoppe, kurls and spykes salon, stationery shops, etc are also available
Dislikes
- The teaching staff should have been better because that's the main point of attending college
- 75% attendance in every subject is mandatory otherwise they ban you from giving exams
Faculty:
The faculty is quite friendly. You can always get your doubts cleared. There are 2 exams in one semester namely mid-term exams and semester end exams. They will also give you assignments, presentation. Vivas are held as well. RGU follows syllabus approved by the UGC.
Likes
- I liked the infrastructure,the compound is beautiful and clean, spreading across 27 acres
- The teaching faculties are experienced and good
Dislikes
- I didn’t like the fact that we have to sit in the university from 9AM till 5PM
- Exam starts right after holiday breaks and we can’t even go to our hometown to celebrate festivals since we need to study for the exam
Faculty:
Some faculties are approachable and very friendly but some treats us like school children. The faculty that I liked were Bhayolina ma'am she explains in a very simple language and it's very easy to understand , the other faculty teaches general biochemistry,he teaches very well too I don't really dislike any of the other faculties but the ones I mentioned above are the best. I am a 1st semester student so I have not started any of my exams yet and so I cannot give a review for that
Likes
- The teachings of the teachers.They are pretty impressive
- There are more than 10 canteens around the college in every floors.
Dislikes
- They are very strict in attendance so u cannot miss a single class
- Some facultys are very rude to the students
Faculty:
The faculty members of our department are pretty good and moreover they are very friendly towards the students which is very necessary.They comducts 2exams one is Mid term exam and the other is Semester end exam.
Likes
- Good infrastructure. There are variety of stalls inside the campus like food stalls and stationery.
- A lot of different activities and competitions are put forward by the different clubs or departments of the university
Dislikes
- Some foods and drinks which are sold inside the campus are overpriced.
- Non functioning of the lift in some floors of the block or taking too much time.
Faculty:
There are 7 faculties along with 2 scholars. They all have their own teaching styles which are suitable to some students, and which are hard to follow for some. Students tend to be more closer to one faculty than the other. 2 exams are conducted in one semester: a mid sem and an end sem. Almost every questions set for the exam are from class notes or assignments. Nothing comes from our of the syllabus. In our class, hardly 1-2 students failed to pass but it improved shortly.
