Royal Global University PhD Admission 2026 Begins; Apply by December 15 @rgu.ac

Royal Global University (RGU), Guwahati, has officially announced the commencement of its PhD admission process for the 2026 session. The university is inviting applications from eligible candidates across various disciplines, with the application window remaining open until 15 December 2025.

As per the official notification, the PhD Entrance Examination and Interview will be conducted on 20 December 2025. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted for the interview round on the same day, making the process efficient and streamlined.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline from a recognised university, with at least 55% aggregate marks (or 50% for reserved categories) as per UGC norms. Candidates with an M.Phil. degree or those who have qualified UGC-NET/JRF, SLET, or GATE may be exempted from the entrance test, subject to university rules.

Aspiring researchers are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria, prepare the required documents, and submit their applications well before the deadline.
