8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Atmosphere teacher principal good quality of infrastructure teaching good course curriculum good learning facilities good placement opportunities

The campus has an eco-friendly atmosphere suitable for effective learning as well as tutoring. The lab facilities are outstanding
The management prioritizes academics and other extra-curricular activities like sports and arts equally.

The washrooms have few unrepaired taps, which are currently being repaired.
The Conference halls doesn't have adequate sound systems like mike and speakers.

From the 7th semester of college, placements start recruiting freshers.Several companies like TCS, CTS, IBM, Wipro, Sutherland etc. recently visited the campus for the purpose of recruitment. Each companies offer a decent package depending on the company and the profiles offered. TCS offers a salary package for freshers, starting from Rs 3 lakhs to 7 lakhs.

Techno and cultural fest are a major event happening in the campus.So called hestia the largest techno cultural fest in South India
Physical education department is well organised.College team has proved excellence in fields like football,cricket,volleyball, kabaddi

Dislikes

Hostel facility is poor due to food issues
No separate department block for ece department
Strict rules in education . Regulations to use college campus after evening.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards students are eligible for internship and placement opportunities. Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Typical Model engineering college

OUR college have good placement statistics,many of our senior get placed into well reputed companies
Our college have large number of technical and cultural clubs
One of our strength is our alumni ,most of them are really helpful

Dislikes

Model engineering college's major problem is their campus.they have short campus .
During the first year we are not allowed to mingle with the seniors ,first years have different class timing rest of the years have same timing .
KTU don't give much time for each semester.If you are luckey you will 4 or 4 and half months for a semester

A dedicated Training and Placement Cell (organized like a club) is responsible for managing both these activities. While MEC Kochi has seen impressive highest packages in the past, ranging from 50 LPA to 56 LPA, these top offers predominantly go to students in Computer Science Engineering from a few elite companies. The average salary package generally falls between 6 LPA and 8 LPA

The structure of our college building is a very unique one that it allows all the department students to socialize and communicate to each and every department students
the canteen provided by our college is very good
the college fests conducted are not just a break from academics but also helps in skill development , showcasing talents ,personal growth , and better social networking

Dislikes

the location of our college is not a very convenient one
we dont get proper mobile network connections
there are not enough clubs and organisation aligning their interests

The placements of our college are improvising each and every year. our college has a very strong placement cell working for ensuring a placement for all the students who pass out of here. Typically students become capable for placements in their 6th or 7th semester. Some of the companies that visites are TCS,UST,Technologics ,aero connections, prochant ,speridian , tvs and other top companies

Likes

Faculties and teaching methods are excellent.Very friendly and supportive facilities.
Inter college events and college fests like epoch, Onam celebration meets our expectations. Thought its a small college they organise programs
They have an active placement cell which ensures that every student passed out gets a job asap.

Dislikes

The canteen could be made better by adding more food items and snacks.

Placement Experience:

There is a actively working placement cell in the college that provides placement activity time to time.they conduct classes based on placement minimum twice a month.There are weekly assessments that need to be completed that helps us develop skills for placement.

Likes

The college offers an extensive collection of engineering books, journals, and online research resources in libraries
The professor helping students improve and refine students skill and they are actively involved in mentoring students , offering career advice and guiding research projects.
The infrastructure is strong with well-equipped classroom, laboratories, and research facilities that support the educational needs.

Dislikes

The program focuses more on theory and could be use more hands-on projects and field work to give students real-world experience.
The course content can feel too fast at times. More time for revision and deeper understanding would beneficial.
Wi-Fi on campus is sometime slow or unreliable, especially during busy hours.

Campus placement begins from 7th semster.Students receive good oppurtunities with an average package of 2 lakh.Around 70% of students get placed.Training session and mock interview is provided by college
