- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- There are many small club vise events happening, which helps in organising, managing and balancing the academic works and extra curriculum.
- They are giving equal amount of value towards the sports too, that too not only for the students but for the faculties too which is great way to build up the best interaction with them
- When it comes to competition we work as a wholesome team to make our college win both academically and other curriculums.
Dislikes
- If you give a bad impression to the faculties, it might affect your academics
- Insulting attitude of some faculties might make you discouraged
- Can't balance between your sleep and work
Placement Experience:
As i am a second year I don't know more about the placements. But yeah most of the students who got passed out are getting placement in many companies offering a package of ?15000-30000/-. Students are allowed to do research paper even after they got passed out . They are getting placements as aluminies in the college itself

- Poor infrastructure and other facilities are done only to a bare minimum
- Lack of experienced teachers for the specific subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum looks pleasing but just like any course it has its pros and cons. The curriculum is enough for preparing us for architecture life but its so closely packed that its hard for average students to catch up. There are two semesters a year and two internal and one external exam for each semester

- The interaction with seniors help a lot for design subjects.
Dislikes
- Not all faculty are like mineded as the students
Course Curriculum Overview:
The design subject which is the most important one in the curriculum helps us gradually grow our perspective on architecture. The scale of the projects becomes larger every semester and each semester has a important aspect we need to include in our design ( contour site, universal accessibility etc).
The 4th yr has an internship that every student is required to complete that actually prepares us for the real world application of what we learnt in the past 3 years of our course.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum followed is as per the ktu ( kerala technology University). Since now its autonomous there's changes in the curriculum. For my batch, there was 2 series exams in a semester. The teaching methods are fine

- The college and the ambience is perfect for studies.The faculties are very friendly and approachable.
- Cultural and technical programs conducted in the college is a main attraction.
- Especially in architecture they provide a lot of study trips and stationary for work from the college itself unlike other architecture colleges
Dislikes
- The water and toilet facilities are a bit of a problem.
- Not all the students get accommodation in college hostel which is a major problem
Placement Experience:
In architecture the placements are very low compared to other engineering branches in the college. But still they got placement and students get placed every year in top architecture firms in India . Percentage of students getting placed is very low

- My college offers a vibrant community with diverse backgrounds and interests , fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ideal location offering both peaceful study environments and access to urban amenities
- Great wifi all over the campus helps in students’s works.
Dislikes
- There’s few number of programs or events in the college since recent years. They need to focus more on these too as college life is one of the most important in a person’s life.
- Courses lack practical experiences as compared to other colleges i believe. Few number of IVs etc..
- The campus have old amenities and should pay attention to it
Course Curriculum Overview:
Ive always liked this course seeing my cousins. It was mostly all for the travelling and exploring architectural masterpieces. Our college takes 2 internal exams per semester which are of medium difficulty level. Structural subjects are hard.

- The college had very good atmosphere that blends with the nature. Most students admitted in the college are not the natives
- The college has just fine infrastructure. Since it i owned by the government it is not well maintained and the buildings are a bit old.
- The college gives you opportunities to build your talents and get social interctions and connections
Dislikes
- The amenities can be improved and maintained more.
- The facilities like number of washrooms can be increased.
Placement Experience:
The college provides plenty of placements for the students as the college has years of experience. The highest package for placement in engineering is 36 LPA and average for architecture is 12 LPA. Almost 80 percent of students get placed every year,The rest pursue for higher studies. Students who pass out from the institution are given consideration due to its prestige.

- Good campus, ambience is good. Really feels amazing to go through the campus. Even at night time.
- Placements are good here. Btech students get 3LPA packages minimum. The department of architecture doesnt get much placements
- Cultural events, sports, co curricular, outside exposure events are conducted
Dislikes
- The staff in the office are not cooperative. They give a hard time to students
- The departments should be allowed to function further late at night.
Placement Experience:
After 7th semester.
Placeme training starts in the 6th semester.
More than 50 companies come to btech departments.
LnT, JSW, Atkins come to architecture.
50%of students get placed minimum
The highest package goes to 32 lakhs per year.

- College size is just right, not too big, not too small
- Lot of events happen in the even semester and it helps you to relax from the academic stress
- There are spaces where you can just sit and talk, like the APJ park and the Coffee corner
Dislikes
- Since it's being autonomous, the syllabus has been a little tough
- Even semesters are very short. But with good time management you can participate in academic and other programs equally
Placement Experience:
Placement for Btech in TKMCE is high whereas it for architecture is very low. I'm thinking of doing masters and working on a firm and to move abroad and practice there. Gulf countries and European countries offer good salary packagees for architecture so that's what I'm planning to do after college

- The infrastructure facilities provide by the college is much good compared to pther government controlled colleges in kerala.
- The college is good and famous artists from different streams perform here like Anuv jain, Shalmali Kholgade,Anthara Mithra, DJ marri ferrari etc
- The bond between students even they’re from other different departments are

- The tight academic schedule compared to other colleges
- Not all buildings have elevator facility
Placement Experience:
The placement is in the 7th semester and 6th semester. Actually the majority of students will get placed in bTech branches compared to architecture. The placement for bTech is actually good were the companies like Mahindra, BOSCH, L&T, TCS, Shobha realtoes etc. are doing the placement and above 70 percent students get placed every year in bTech. An avg pack of 4-6 lakhs and highest package was 34 LPA last year.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
