we needed to attend a internship program of 100 days in semester 7,thats actually helps to have a real life experience and also get a training before we graduate .also now in semester 9 we need to attend a spetial caurse ,that we can choose based on our intrest , which helps to develop our skills and will have a estra cerfication also.

Placement Experience:

As I'm a first year student I don't know much about placements but I think it starts by 8th sem for b arch students. Placements for barch are low compare to btech. But as this is a prestigious institution the best firms come here and there is a unit called CGPU for helping students regarding placements here.

I chose architecture course as a passion but this particular college was chosen by the college The part of the curriculum I liked were the studios and workshops they provide They don't prepeare you for real world but they help you make connections Teaching a bit of law and rules and regulations and including software skills as a part of the teaching ciriculum should be mandatory

Course Curriculum Overview:

A better option for coming future was the reason for my decision on this course. My curriculum prepares me the for the better exposure of the real world. Teaching methods are pretty practical based which are a little tuff but it prepares us for the future exposure. Exams are in good time intervals where we get enough time to prepare and be ready.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very interesting and fun to learn as well as it is very hectic. Design subject and other theory subjects are hard to work on simultaneously. The submissions and work teaches a lot about time management tho.

Its the creative part of architecture that made me choose this course...few theory subjects easy to clear... 2 series exam with 1.5 months and a sen exam...so 3 exams in total Felt like a sem could be a bit longer as the schedule seems hectic

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the curriculum has things that not very relevant to the course. The theory subjects contents could be improved so as to benefit practical output. The internal exams happen twice in a semester by around 2 months apart sometimes the time is not nought to complete the syllubus

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
