One of the most famous festival here is the varsity week books and journals could be availed from the library easily the management should work on developing the class into smart classes sports area need an improvement
There's a lot of opportunities for like scholarships like ishan uday scholarship (54000 inr per annum) and ews scholarship (2000inr per annum.
The completion of the course, the opportunities increase and the students either get placement opportunities in government services or in private companies.

Dislikes

No bus service. transportation of the students is a difficult task as there is no bus facility.
No closed campus which is slight disturbing for the students to visit department tp department throughout a busy city
The environment of the university is very poor as it is a open campus. also the campus is too small to proper administration.

One of the best Universities

Likes

Courses are Very much Affordable as it is a State Govt University
Ambience of the University is really pleasant and environment is peaceful
Cotton University is one of the Best universities in Northeast India

Dislikes

Hostels require renovation and better cleanliness
There should be more field trips for better understanding of the courses
Results are given a bit late. This should be looked after.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that great. Average package is 3-4 LPA. Various companies and banks provide campus placements like ICICI, etc. From 6th semester onwards, the campus placement programs starts and students can apply.

Likes

Teachers were very friendly and they help us very much whenever we need them . They taught us according to our syllabus and does not put a lot of work on us , all the teachers follow their job very nicely and their teachings skill were also very good
The environment of our university were very good, there is a natural environment filled with tress , shrubs and herbs , All the rooms were cleaned properly and there is also a safe place for students with security guards at the gate, all the students

I took the decision to choose this course because through this course we can study the environment and wildlife.It teaches us about the characteristics of animals and human and all the essential behaviour
