NIT Mizoram Campus
NIT Mizoram currently operates from a temporary campus located in Aizawl. It is approximately 35 km from Lengpui (Aizawl) Airport and around 179 km from Silchar Railway Station. The campus offers facilities such as classrooms, a library, a cafeteria, hostels (4 for boys and 1 for girls), a health facility, transportation, and many more.
According to student reviews, NIT Mizoram is located in a hilly region, so students have to walk long distances at high altitudes to attend classes, as the institute does not have a proper permanent campus. Additionally, some students have reported facing ragging issues from seniors.

The first and second-year fee is INR 1.50 Lakhs, the 3rd year fee is INR 1.52 Lakhs, and for the 4th year, the fee is INR 1.55 Lakhs for the BTech course at the NIT Mizoram. The total fee for the Btech course at NIT Mizoram is INR 6.07 lakhs. For the B.Tech admissions at NIT Mizoram, candidates are required to appear for JEE Main examination and participate in the JoSAA counseling for the final seat allotments.
No, NIT, Mizoram offers M.Tech courses in four specializations for which admissions are on the basis of GATE score which is further followed by counseling. Candidates must also meet the basic eligibility criteria for admission in order to be shortlisted for counseling. Candidates must have completed a graduate degree in B.E or B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
No, as per NTA guidelines, you need to have appeared for JEE Mains for admission into various B.Tech colleges, be it government or private. There are various colleges that don’t accept JEE Mains, however, you need to give some other exams conducted by their respective Universities for admission.
