Aap professors are very good and take know about the subject in detail and the love their subjects and teach us how to love the subject
Jadavpur university has a strong track record of campus placements, with many students securing promising job opportunities in leading companies across various industries.
The eligibility of the course for electronics and telecommunication engineering is you have to get a good marks and rank in wbjee exam, our department is second best after cse is the best department in our college

Dislikes

Quality of faculty is not very good as the salaries are low. the flawed fees structure causes the university to be dependent on government funds and lack autonomy.
The thing which i disliked is the level of difficulty in our syllabus..it's a bit tough.
The infrastructure of the class and labs are not good due to lack of funds and skilled personnel at all levels.

The placement cell in the college is amazing and really helpful. Many big companies including Deloitte come to recruit students from our college and over good packages to the students. Lastly, I heard a student got an offer for a 6lpa package from Deloitte. I will also sit for the campus placement in my college.

Culture and the program of the college is so good.
College students can participate in different programs outside college

Library does not allow more than 2 book at a time
The condition of Lab equipments are very poor.
Students have to find internship for himself

It is a 3 year course. Students became eligible for placement form 5th semester. May companies visits our campus like Tata Steel, Tata power, L&T, woods, Thought works etc. Almost 90% students got placed though out the placement session. Highest package is around 6LPA. And the average package is 3 LPA.

Campus placement is very good. Almost all student get placement.
Library facility are very good and stuff are very good.
Teachers are friendly and Teaching standard is very high.

Dislikes

Campus is open for all. Anyone can come to campus without any valid reason.
Library facilities are can be avail till 8 pm.
Ssome lab equipment are old and still working.

The campus placement is excellent. Students are eligible for placement from the start of the 7th semester and the campus placement starts. So many multinational companies like Amazon, DE Shaw, Texas Instrument, Micron, Morgan Stanley, Slice, synopsis and many more companies visit this campus to hire us. The highest package of my department is 46LPA offered by Amazon and the average package is 18LPA. 98% of students became placed through the campus placement.

I liked our seniors they are really helpful, our teachers they always solve our doubts also our classmates, it's a really friendly environment here without any ragging or anything which is mostly expected from a govt college.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is a little bad here. There is shortage of water supplies in on part of the building... The bathrooms are also not very cleaned and the fans in our class doesn't work properly..
Even though it's a building with 4th stories and there is lift available but the authorities kept it shut down and doesn't let anyone use it.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester, companies will be coming to our campus for job opportunities, There will be 5 to 6 companies coming each year at least... They will take written tests also interviews before selection... The highest package after doing an internship for 1.5 years a student can get 12-13lpa. The company which offers this facility is called "Thoughtworks". 40-50% of students will be getting placements. Depending on their knowledge and quality. Though I plan to do BTec after this.

I chose this course because it helped study about Psychology and socio political philosophy. The faculty members are highly educated. There were 2 semesters each year. If one attends all the classes regularly, it's not difficult to pass.

It have big campus. Many fest happens which lasts for one month. Anyone can enter and students can choose when to give semester exams.

Dislikes

Too much power is given to students which sometimes can be used in unfair means.

Placement Experience:

Architecture is a 5yrs course. In 4th year 1st sem, internships are provided to everyone. It lasts for one semester only. Then by the end of 5th year, campusing is done. Everyone gets to sit for an interview and everyone is provided with jobs.
