Galgotias University Merit Scholarship for BTech Lateral Students

Galgotias University offers merit-based scholarships to students who are willing to take admission to the BTech programmes under the lateral entry scheme in 2nd year. It provides a 10% fee waiver on the applicable tuition fee.

Galgotias University BTech Lateral Merit Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The students of Galgotias University have to meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship.

• The applicant must have scored a CGPA of 6 or more in their diploma.
• This scholarship can be availed by students of the University Polytechnic under Galgotias University.

Galgotias University Admission Merit Scholarship 

Galgotias University offers scholarships to students based on their academic performance in various examinations. This includes multiple tests attempted by the candidate previously like 10+2th board exams, All India/State Level examination/Aptitude Test and others. It is announced through admission notifications at various times during the year. 

The benefits offered by this scholarship are as follows.

Important Note:

• The student has to maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above to continue the scholarship for upcoming semesters.
• If the student does not score an 8 CGPA, the scholarship will be discontinued, however, it will be restored once the candidate starts maintaining the required scores.
• The scholarship will be automatically granted at the time of admission.
• The scholarship will be discontinued if the student has been indulged in any type of misconduct, misbehaviour, indiscipline, ragging, etc.

Galgotias University Merit Scholarship for High Performers

This scholarship has been initiated by Galgotias University to motivate and recognize students for good academic performance. This scholarship is granted to students of second, third and fourth year after the declaration of winter semester results. It can be availed for one year.

Galgotias University Merit Scholarship: Batch Wise

Galgotias University merit scholarships are also available for the top three students under each batch. It entitles a 30% tuition fee waiver for the subsequent year. The students will be selected based on their CGPA. The student must have passed the examination on the first attempt.

Galgotias University Sports Quota Scholarship

Galgotias University offers scholarships to students based on their performance in the sports field. The eligible students have to submit the supporting certificates. The certificate will be considered from May 22, 2019 to May 21, 2023. The student can be asked to appear for a physical test while applying for the scholarship. Galgotias University Financial Assistance 

Galgotias University offers scholarships to the dependants of the Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The scholarships offered under this scheme are for regular students only. The scholarship is given on a first come first serve basis.

Important Note:

• The beneficiaries of this scholarship will get a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility criteria.
• All the serving officers, taking admission to Galgotias University during study leave will be exempted from entrance exams and interviews conducted by the university.
• The last date for applying to this scholarship will be the last day of admission.
