Course Curriculum Overview

i would rate the B.Tech CSE curriculum at galgotias around 8.5/10 in terms of relevance and comprehenciveness. the course is well- structured and covers both core computer science subjects(like Data Structures, DBMS, OS, CN).

Internships Opportunities

At galgotias, internships are considered an important part of the B.Tech program. Most Students starts getting internship opportunities from the 3rd year (6th semester), through some companies also offer short-term internships after the 3rd year.

Placement Experience

Students at Galgotias University become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. companies also visit earlier in the 6th semester for internship, which often get converted into full-time job offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

i am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at Galgotias University. here my honest review of fee structure and scholarships, in my course the fee are clearly defined and remains the same throughout the 4 years, in first year total fee is 1,62,000, including 1,49,000 tution fee, 10,000 exam fee, 1000 ID fee, and 2000 caution fee. and second year onwards it is 1,49,000 tution fee + 1000 exam fee till 4th year.

Campus Life

Campus life at Galgotias is very lively. The university organizes both cultural and technical fests every years. Tech Fest/ Hachathons: Organixed by the School of Engineering around September- October focusing on coding contests, robotices and start-up innovations challenges.

Admission

During my admission process, i applied to a few well- known private and state universities, Apart from Galgotias Gniversity, i also looed at. i got confirmed admission offers from LPU , but after comparing , i finnally choose Galgotias University.

Faculty

The faculty-to- studnet ration in my program is around 1:30 to 1:35. most classes have a manageable number of students, so the professores can give personal attention if needed. approachable outside of clss hours, and they are willing to help with doubts of you reach out politely.

Night Life

Inside the campus, most academic buiding (classrooms, labs) close by 6-7 PM. The library usualy stays open untill late evening , especially during exams. Hostels have their own gyms, cafeterias and study rooms, which remain accessible to hostel students until around 10-11 PM.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

From 3rd year students are eligible for getting placements . In 2024 year 150+ companies visited our institute and offered more than 750+ jobs. The highest Job offered was 39 LPA by Autodesk. and the lowest was 3 LPA. Average package is 4 LPA . Almost 50% of the students got placed . HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
