- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc

There are nearly 950 students studying in this course. in this college CSE course is most demanded. And the lab and practical are made me more impressive to select this course in this college. they have trained multitasked professors for this course.

There are nearly 800 students in cse department. The faculties are well trained for the specific syllabus

- the teaching here is very nice and very understanding also.
- the campus is very big and classrooms are very big and cleaned.
- the greenery here is so peaceful and free to enjoy the campus.

- sometimes we have water and electricity problems.
- the food here sometimes was not good to taste.
- we have very strict rules for girls here.
Placement Experience:
The placements happens when you are studying third year. and it based on your grading. there are so many companies visited VIT they are amazon, vipro, google, nokia, microsoft. the highest package is nearly 1 cr and the average package is 9.8 lakhs.here we have 100 percentage placements.

Placements in Vellore Institute of Technology are decent enough, many top companies visit Vellore Institute of Technology to offer placements like Google, Apple and also few other companies like. TCS and Infosys also offers placements in our college

- I love the ffcs system which allows me to create my own timetable
- The professors, the club culture and hackathons

- Mess food is mediocre and is not that nutritious
- Frequent crashing of the portals when it comes to registration
- No ac for classrooms alloted for btech students

Students can sit for placements from 3rd year. More than 200 companies visit every year. Vit boasts 100 percent placement for kids who opt for campus placements. Placement training starts from year 3 .

- Faculty are very nice and cooperative and explain industry better
- Extra ciricular activities provided are fun in nature
- You get to do networking and meet many students from different cultures
Placement Experience:
Vit is also known for proving in campus placements with reputed companies, there are companies which can offer upward of 30 lakhs, the highest package I have heard of is of 1 cr given by a start up,as the industry is a bit down placements are a bit average now

Placements are very good you will be placed atleast in a dream company average placements package is 12 lakh where the highest package in the year 2022 is 75 lakh you can get placements if you have nearly 6 chpa

- Infrastructure- the college’s infrastructure is very nice. We have a huge campus with all sports facilities.
- There is an attendance relaxation system for all the students who secure a score of 9 cgpa or more.
- FFCS- we have a fully flexible credit system where we can choose our courses, class timings like morning theory or evening theory and even our faculties.
Dislikes
- Too much crowd - the intake of students is very high
- The in-time for the college main gate is 7 pm and 9 pm for hostels.
- The wifi is not provided after 12:30 am at night.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is good for CSE especially, as we have exposure to many fomputer languages, AI ML and a lot more that theoritical learning. Being a college, the professors are qualified but the study part you need to do it yourself. There are some subjects like Digital System Designs, Microprocessors, which is not very much required considering our course of CSae but they are there as compulsory courses. Coming to exams, VIT has more exams compared to other colleges. Every month there are either CAT or FAT going on in our college.

The students who are at the end of third year and fourth year students are eligible for campus placements. There are number of companies visit our campus. Approximately 60% of students are getting placements.
