I have done a Tamil Ph.D in this prestigious sdnb Vaishnav College for Women, chromepet, Chennai - 44. from the year 2019 to 2023. with due support and guidance from the college faculties and staffs.

Initially, when I joined in 2014 the research fee was 11000 for one year. Later the institution increased it to 18000rs. The research study is for 3 years and extended to another 2 and a bonus of 1 year.
JRF is a scholarship a research-based candidate can avail of. Also, there is various financial assistance provided based on one's religion as it's a catholic institution. I used to teach and avail a stipend during my years on campus.
My fees was ? 5,100. Quite reasonable and easy to pay. The fees was really cheap as compared to other colleges that were offering the same course. I paid the fees from my own pocket and it felt really good.
The fee structure is transparent here since it?s a government college so the fees are easily feasible for most of the students. After securing an admission here. Nothing to think much about the fees.Scholarship program and rebate in the fee for economically weak students.
I have not applied any scholarship and I really don't know about the various scholarships. There are many scholarship as per state and central government norms.
