Faculty:

There will be maximum of 75 students per class. Around 90 to 100 faculties work in this college. Mostly all the faculties maintain a freindly relationship with the students. There will be internal assessments conducted for every semester. There will be 3 internal assessments for one semester and the exams will not be much comprehensive.

Faculty:

In our department there are 36 students. It is a women's college. There are 5 faculties for our department. There are some friendly faculties, and there are strict ones also. Our bioinformatics mam is very friendly and helped us very much in completing our projects and guided us very well. I felt that some staffs didn't give proper internal marks. There are 2 internal exams per semester but they won't be taking marks from that exam. They will take marks from one test that will be conducting suddenly. Those who are absent on that day will be getting very less internal marks and it affects our overall marks. The exams are not too tough. Mostly all the students clear the exams in most of the semesters. Some will fail (3/4 out of 36) in some semesters.

We were affiliated to University of Madras and follow their exam systems. Faculties were approachable and friendly in my department. I used to be on OD, for 3/5 days, they were understanding and helped me stay updated. I love my HOD, Dr A Umahani ma'am. She is strict, she will expect decorum, but she will be the first person to appreciate you when you achieve something. Dr Mary Diana ma'am, sweet as always and ever energetic. She is full of vibe and understands us well. Exams weren't difficult. As someone who never stayed in the class, I was still able to crack the exams. You just need good friends who can help you in the last moment and previous year question papers. Just identify the pattern of the questions and you are good to go.

Faculty to student ratio was a very typical thing. In my entire college life. Teachers are so rude and very minimum number of teachers are cool and understanding. I didn't like Vidya Mam and of the teacher. I do not want to lick the name but Vidya Mam so bad things to me, she, she always scold me, always scold everyone in the class pics for silly reasons. I like Sangeethavani Mam. We had to exams in a year and we had test between every semester. they were easy and understandable for our care.

Faculty:

The faculty-to-student ratio at Chevalier T Thomas Elizabeth College For Women is balanced, ensuring personal attention and guidance. Most faculty members are approachable, supportive, and encourage questions both inside and outside the classroom. The relationship with students is generally positive, especially within the Computer Science department. Faculty like Mrs. Lavanya and Mrs. Jayanthi stand out for their clarity in teaching, timely completion of syllabus, and motivational support. They simplify complex concepts and offer mentorship beyond academics. While most faculties are good, a few might lack engagement or use outdated teaching methods, which affects student interest. However, no specific names are being mentioned here out of respect.
