Not a bad college for geology

Likes

Staffs are friendly and they will guide you if you ask any queries
Department museum is old but has lot of precious minerals and fossil collection
They provide field trip on 2nd year and 3 rd year

Dislikes

Classes won't be regular and only 2 permenant staffs are there
Internal and model exams aren't conducted in a good manner
Teachers have knowledgeand experience but they will use less in classes

The faculty members are experienced, friendly, and always willing to guide students. Their teaching methods combine theory with practical examples, which helped in better understanding of complex topics.
Being a women’s college, the campus provides a safe, empowering space for girls to grow personally and academically. The girls-to-boys ratio is 100:0 as it’s an exclusive women’s college, fostering strong peer bonding and support.
The college actively encourages students to attend workshops and offers internship connections that helped enhance real-world skills. I had a chance to intern with a software company which strengthened my resume.

Dislikes

Limited trips and restricted cultural allowed
Canteen was high in price compared to outside
Although the basic lab facilities are good, there is scope for improvement in providing advanced equipment, especially for data science and AI-related subjects

I chose CTTE COLLEGE as i applied for other colleges but this was in good distance to reach the college and there is no entrance examination and very easy to get admission and the fees also very affordable

The overall ambiance of the college is great
I should personally thank my college for introducing the vending machine.
You can literally leave whenever you want as different departments have different timings.

Dislikes

BBA faculty are the worst. For every sem there are different teachers. BBA has high quiltting percentage.
No time sense. This is a major disadvantage as people who are time sensitive feel threatened. If they say an event starts at 1 dont expect it to actually start. They may start even at 3
Placements are the worst. They bring only the worst companies here. In my class of 77, hardly 10 got actually placed

I applied to colleges like Stella Maris, VIT & then MOP. Unfortunately, Stella doesnt not accept commerce with computer applications. VIT was a bit pricey & far. There are different admission process. For BBA there is shift I &II. For shift I u need business mathematics all though its such a dumb rule. Its better to give a choice to students. The process is comparatively simple. Just apply & if you qualify then pay the fees.

WCC the inside and out

Likes

The campus is very Green and the every building is so beautiful.
there are many clubs and being part of it helps in connecting with students from other departments and other colleges
The Library is really good, both new released and very old books can also be found

Dislikes

The management is a bit strict around phone usage in campus and if a student is caught, she would have to either pay or be suspended for 7 days
since the teacher's were a bit young, the quality of the teaching method was not amicabal

Admission:

I had applied for Bsc Psychology in Women's Christian college, Stella Maris, Madras school of social work and Presidency college.I got into all the colleges i had applied for but WCC was the first to relase its admission reults plus WCC is popular for Psychology in Chennai. so when i got in i Joined immediately. I didn't opt for Stella because it was strict about the dress code even when went for provisional admission process. Madras School for social work and presidency came in very late and by then i had already got adapted to WCC so i did not join MSSW or Presidency. so for all these colleges, I had to submit my application form with my 12th mark sheet and other documents, there was no entrance test or interview. overall the admission process was completely online so it was hassle free. after the application is accepted, the students have to go to the college for document verfication within the given time slot and following that the staff will give information about when college starts and all.

I applied Stella Maris and M.O.P college. I got admission on both college. I chose these because its near by my home. Its easy to attend the class in right time . No test were held in admission. They only check the cut off the marks. And they give free counseling based on your cutoff.
