The management can concentrate on separate placement cells. Overall the management is good.

I took entrance exam and got selected in university of madras in the year 2013. I had passion for the subject which made me to search for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was fantastic with more practicals and in depth theories. The period is two years and total four semesters. It has exposure to more practical coupled with theory knowledge regarding psychology and human resource. The course also has seminar for all the two years where field expert person takes the seminar with various psychology and human resource subjects and scope of it. Electives can be chosen from various subjects across the departments.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship for sc/st and obc and religious minority students. Stipend amount depends upon the fee of the course.
Placement Experience
It doesn't have special placement cell but they bring all resource person for the seminar where they provide details about the opportunities about the job regarding the course,. package depends upon the company and talent of the candidate. It pave the way for both into psychology and human resource fields.
College Events
There is no cultural festivals but we have departmental festival where we don't do much and everything will be organized in the department itself.International seminars would happen in a very big way where they call various experts in the field across the countries.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are two modes, while admission either candidate can be opt for government norms or self financing. self financing is five the fees of government. the government mode fee is 7000 per year and self financing is 35000 per year. Self financing is very expensive compare to government mode.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I have not applied any scholarship and I really don't know about the various scholarships. There are many scholarship as per state and central government norms.
Campus Life
The university has extreme diversity and we have students across the world from France, Germany, Nigeria,Kenya, Afghanistan, Zambia, Ghana, united kingdom etc and from various states in India from Kerala,Andra pradesh telangana, madhya pradesh, uttrakhand. In psychology females are more in number than males. There are no sports and extra curricular activities. In seminar class good debates happen.
Hostel Facilities
I have no idea about hostel as I heard from my friends hostels are good with nominal fee. rooms are good and clean toilets with ample space. I don't know about the exact rental fee of hostel. There is only course for PG students and UG in my university. Mess is average and it is costlier with less number of items. There is no north Indian food as many north Indian students are studying.
Alumni/Alumna
They are very helpful in bringing resource persons from various companies. we have good alumni networks. Only my alumni have brought companies for placements
Exam Structure
The exams are very strict and regular lab classes will be conducted. The students have to complete and submit the records on time. The question paper would be indirect and it test the knowledge of the subject that the student possess. Corrections are very strict and no grace marks would be given at any circumstances.
Admission
I have downloaded the application form from the university of madras website and fill it and submitted and I got hall ticket and date for entrance exam which I have passed.I got call from the university stating that I have got selected for the particular course which I have opted for.
Faculty
The head of the department is Dr.karunanidhi and he is the head of the department since 2004.He is the professor. There are two associate professors and two professors and two research scholars. All were PhD holders. Dr.lavanya, dr.sasikala,are associate professors dr.swaminathan (professor). dr.swaminathan has 32 years experience in teaching. dr.lavanya has 10 years experience in teaching and dr.sasikala has 6 years experience in teaching.
