Dharmamurthi Rao Bahadur Calavala Cunnan Chettys Hindu College was established in 1969 by the great effort of Sri Dharmamurthi Rao Bahadur Calavala Cunnan Chetty. The college is co-educational and affiliated to University of Madras. The college is situated in the Avadi Municipality area on the Chennai-Tiruvallur High Road in a campus of 30 acres.
