SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I have heard that the placements are good in this university, considering the amount of students they intake per year, as there is a very large crowd, which leads to a lot of competition to struggle and get a placement ( I am talking about good placement in a good company). Ihave heard that over 300 companies visit SRM every year and almost 90% above are placed in good companies with average package of 6+ LPA. The highest package offered was 1Cr which was few years ago. This university also gives many opportunities for students to study outside the country after their completion of getting Degree as it has collaborated with many Univeristies outisde India. Myplans after getting the degree is to pursue my studies by opting for Masters in USA and get placed in a good company.

As every Engineering College in 1st year you are taught almost every field of engineering from mechanical engineering to cse In college after initial 1month exams are conducted for every 1/2 units Overall it is well planned.

The placements of my college is actually good considering the other Delhi ncr colleges it's actually really better last year the highest package was 45 lpa and the average was 10 lpa and 95 percent students got placed.the placements can be eligible from 3rd year itself you can apply it accordingly to your own self

As per my knowledge, students become eligible for placements after the 7th semester, but can be as early as 6 if they have secured an internship. Various companies visit the campus, ranging from Amazon to TCS. Mass recruiters like TCC offer a package of 6lpa, wheras Amazon can offer as high as 50LPA. The highest package secured was 1.1 crore, but I think it was an off-campus placement. On an average, the packages are around 8-10 lpa. Packages also range from 12-25 and 25-50 lpa depending on the student's performance. According to SRMIST, 100% of the students get placed, with the top students landing in MNC, and the lower ones being mass recruited. After getting my degree, I plan on working, as I am not interested in pursuing masters as of now.

Placements are known to be really good at the college with highest packages going up to the crores. The placement starts at the end of 3 year and start of 4 year. MNCs like Amazon Flipkart and all have been known to recruit from srm

The students become eligible for placements from 3rd Year 6th semester. I don't not know much about he placements as I study in first year . The placement percentage at SRM University is 98 percent. My plans after degree is Job with nominal package .

I like to study the bachelor of computer applications because that is my dream course .more people like students are applied and prefer this course .exam are not like to difficult 70/100% and teaching method is very good

Placement is only good for engineering students and all the other departments the percentage is very low for getting placed and even the one who is getting placed they are getting package of 3.5L average. In my batch of 30 students only 2 got placed with the package of 4.6L. My plans is to go for PhD after completing my masters.

The course curriculum is very good and the faculty are very highly educated in reputed Universities all over the world, I am passionate in cybersecurity so I choose CSE as my dream future, the ratio of the faculty and students is around1:20 and it is quiet good ratio for an upcoming university

I have chosed this course because we can go both sides of core and software, faculty are good and the way of teaching is good students are 60 per class all faculty are 20 to 30 years experience memebers we can pass w Easily in srmm
