Course Curriculum Overview

3

I did my bachelor's in mathematics so I choose masters degree in mathematics. Ratio between faculty and student is 2:1. Every faculty has completed there phd in their respective fields. Exam are like most of the university and passing is also not that difficult you just have to be thorough with your topic.

Placement Experience

2

Placement is only good for engineering students and all the other departments the percentage is very low for getting placed and even the one who is getting placed they are getting package of 3.5L average. In my batch of 30 students only 2 got placed with the package of 4.6L. My plans is to go for PhD after completing my masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about the fees hike policy but I think it is not like they hike that every year and for MSc Mathematics full course fees is 65k where 30k each year fees and 5k is the one time registration fees.

Campus Life

3.5

Fest and all are conducted every now and then but the main fest called Milan is conducted in a month of March every year which is bigger they invite celebrities. Classroom is well maintained with CCTV camera installed everywhere. Extra curricular and sports are always going on in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am staying in a three sharing room in which there is wardrobe for everyone and they cleaned the room everyday but bathroom and toilet are sharing. Food is also ok but I find it difficult to adjust because coming from North it's not easy to get the taste. 115000 Rs for 3 sharing room with no ac and common bathroom. Staying in pg is less expensive than hostel but it is not that cleaned and also u can get apartment for rent nearby the university.

Admission

Merit based on graduation marks. Online, application fees 1500 and application dates July - September. I don't know about the reservation benefits but maybe there is you have to enquire. After accepting the application the fees payment deadline should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is one end semester exam and 2 CIAs in one year.Endsem is for 100m and CIAs are 40marks each . There is one assignment for each CIA for 10m each. So totally both the CIA together is 100 marks. Then the average of CIA and end semester is calculated if 40 or above it's pass otherwise you have to reappear. The subjects are not at relevant as computer science keeps changing regularly.
