SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements will start from Sem 6. A lot of companies from TCS to Google, all start-ups, and MNCs visit the campus for placements and most of the Smaller companies take up to 300 to 500 candidates and MNCs take up to 10 of them. The highest package was offered by Amazon with 1.5 Cr per annum and the average remains around 7LPA. As per records, there are 100% placements.

there are 19 faculty for 494 students and most of the faculties are MOT and some teachers are phD. The examinations was Yearly till 2021 and it is now semester wise from 2022 batch. It is not very hard to pass the examinations.

The course Curriculum is per the format provided by UGC year 2018. All of the topics are covered in an apt manner. Faculty is well knowledgeable about their fields. Teaching methods are grasping but can be harder to catch sometimes.

Almost 90% of students get the job through campus placement and the rest started preparing for other competitive exams such as a gate. Basically, I have decided to do the job rather than study for my master's.

The college will provide placement training and jobs. Students from the 6th sem will train for placements, and then from the 7th sem, they are eligible for campus placements. Many companies will visit the college and they offer more jobs for students.

They give a very high placment rates according to nirf ranking also every time companies visit the college for placements. from my experiance and interactions from the seniors i got to know many people are placed and they maintain goo placment rates.

Mechanical engineering is a common form for all types of activities. so my interest was in that terms of faculty all have good stuff to educate students. The teaching methodology is very good compared to other colleges. frequently every quarter exam conducted.

I am interested in studying computer science and so for that passion, I chose this course. Students ratio with faculty is easily maintained so that all the students will be easily managed by the faculty The teachers are all well qualified from them we can easily learn the subject matters

Placements are the main attraction for this college and you know this year our student got a 1 cr per annum package. Almost 90 percent of students got placed in tech companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, etc.
