How is Srm university?

I chose this course because i was intrested in coding and i go to know cse has a good scope from my research.The faculty and student ratio is very good in srm. they maintain a 1:14 faculty student ratio. From my experience a teacher takes class for 70 students which is fine for me.Every teachers over srm are well qualified and knowledgable.most of the teachers holds a P.H.D with them. Every teacher over year have a vast work experience from 3 to 25 years of work experience. they conduct three class test and then comes the semester exam. if we actively participate and listen to the lectures it is very easy to get a good score in the exams.

Many company gives intership oppurtunites like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and Zoho etc... the students have to work hard and find out their right company for internship and then it will be very useful for the placements.

They give a very high placment rates according to nirf ranking also every time companies visit the college for placements. from my experiance and interactions from the seniors i got to know many people are placed and they maintain goo placment rates.

Here the fees of B.Tech CSE core is 4 lakhs and any other course of B.Tech CSE specilisation costs 3.5 lakhs. They maintain a no fee hike policy. the course fees will never change for a student until he completes the course. they assure you and give the estimate fees of the course in year wise division,so there is no worry about fee hike. people from army and physically disabled people get good scholarships and student wo have a high score in their schooling will get consessions.

it is a peacful plays to stay and study. we get opportunities to mingle with various people from diffrent cultures, they give importance to talents. they conduct sports activities often and they also conduct lot of fest. the two most popular fests are the AARUSH and MILAN. they conduct Tech fest very often.

they have various type of hostels which ranges from basic to premium type hostels. it comes in diffrent variations like ac, non ac, attached restoom and common restroom, etc... price varies according to that. they maintain a good food menu and it keeps changing often. after getting admission they will infrom about hostel and we have to book hostel in online. there is also lot of PG and partments nearby where most of the srm students live in.

From my experiance the admission process was smooth. the only way to get admission from srm university is to attend the national level entrance examination conducted by SRM University (it is called as SRMJEEE). They also provide managment quota,but i am not aware of it as i wrote the entrance exam. They conduct a proctor monitored online exam, which they will inform students prior through mail. there will be three phases of examination, we can choose the best phase according to our convenience. After few weeks of exam , we will get the rank card through the given portal. Then we should apply for a online counselling and there we have to select our preffered course and preffered college (location).then the college will intimate the student about the seat confirmation. if you're not getting your preffered seat in counselling, they allow you to write the exam in next phase for better rank and re attempt counselling.so this is how admission process happens.
