- Some of them are very kind and teach the things very easily.
- Amazon, tcs, accenture, lnt, infosys, and all other important companies are here to provide more opportunities for all the best students.
- Sastra university has excellent infrastructure and the social life was very peaceful and joyful the library is fantastic.
Dislikes
- Fests and other activities will be less and very bad actually
- About the syllabus its little bit tough to crack the exam.
- The rent is very cheap but being a non vegetarian the vegetarian food was not good for me .

- College has very good infrastructure facilities and has a library with 1.5Lakh books and having all sports which was very good for student who can enjoy the games
- In our college, students are from different states like Andhra, Telangana, Karnataka which makes very interactive and definitely improves our communication skills
- Faculty experience is minimum 5years ,the main thing is student will learn the subject by learning
Dislikes
- It is common answer food, the college has providepure vegetarian food
- Some hostels are old since it was built in 80s so hostel infrastructure looks like old building
Placement Experience:
For 5th semester onwards companies will offer internships to students and some one will get PPO at internships and someone got placement offers in 7th semester, nearly above 80% students got placement offers and our college holds record where above 1000 students got placed in different branches at a same time
If a student was not placed the college management will refer students based on their academic performance

- I would say the kind of environment which sastra provides you is quite unique that is people from all different parts of country come up here for their education.
- The clubs at sastra are also quite good that is there are number of different types of teams / clubs and events which are conducted regularly over the time and you can explore it if you have interest.
- The faculties and professors at SASTRA are quite professional with huge set of knowledge in their specific domain.
Dislikes
- I would say SASTRA has quite a lot more restrictions compared to other colleges but in the end it all depends up on you.
- I would say academics is given more preference over here compared to extra-curricular activities.
Placement Experience:
I would say irrespective of branch you are pursuing, the university would bring you enough opportunities where you can showcase your skills and potential to the employer.The University not only helps students with their training but also conducts company specific skill sessions. The most important aspect at SASTRA University is the importance given to Professional skill development.

- Admission process is appreciated as it include merit based students.
- Teaching methods are using ppt presentations , Group discussions etc.,
- Campus contains shops with all necessary amenities.
Placement Experience:
Placements are offered by our college if not offered through on campus Placements we can go for off campus by applying through online like through linkedin, instagram ,job portals, company websites. We also have an option to do masters, MBA ,MTECH etc.., for further studying.

- I got experienced on how to interact with others .
- College is being located in outskirts of Thanjavur
- Boys are more compared to girls ,ratio will be around 992
Dislikes
- There are more restrictions in the campus.
- Like wearing formal dresses and no outings after 8 pm
- There will be too many exams for every 2 weeks
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is same as compared to other colleges but standard of tehing is good and u can get good job if you study your core subjects well enough.
Coding will be less when compared to other colleges .

- No air-conditioning in class but for fees we are paying classes are fine

6th semester onwards we can do internship but we can start any time if we want to. They are so warming to us.mostly 70 percent are getting placed. My plan is to do a job get some experience in job .And i want to study further.

- I like the campus infrastructure,it is vast and explorable,it has sports grounds,gyms,canteens
- I also like the way of teaching by faculties,they teach really well
- I like the canteen food too, there are many canteens with various food options
Dislikes
- I don't like the quality of mess food ,sometimes they are not good
- I didn't like the quality of wifi provided in the hostel
- I don't like the some faculties because of their character in class and in paper validation
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement,our placement is pretty good.Companies who come for recruiting are tcs,hcl and etc. our annual package ranges from 3.5lpa to 35 lpa.My plan after degree is pursuing pg in abroad.but almost all the students get placed here

- The environment that Sastra gives is truly amazing and peaceful to study and learn a lot of things.It's a great experience.The people in sastra interact very well and respond us quickly that includes faculties and students.
- The faculties teach very well and make things understandable to the students.Also they are friemdly and ckear our doubts then and there.The girls to boys ratio is approximately 43% to 57%
Placement Experience:
The placements in sastra are really good and almost 80% of students get placed every year.From 3rd year the students can try for placements.Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, Zoho, TCS and other companies visit sastra for placements. The highest package last year is 40lpa. The average placement is 7.6 lpa.I am having plans to do my higher studies in abroad after getting my btech degree.

- the weather and humidity conditions are worse
- introverts cannot be able to develop social skills as everyone here is already somewhat kind of socially skilled
- some of the faculties are very bad and they lack basic knowledge in teaching
Placement Experience:
placements in sastra is one of the best and almost every student here gets placed witha avg package of 500000 and the students are placed based on their skill rather than thier marks which is a great thing.
almost 95 percent of the students gets placed here
my plans are going for a higher study rather than being a employee

- I liked the crowd here, both my batchmates and seniors. Due to the no ragging policy being strictly followed, the seniors act like our own siblings and guide us. Other than this, the academic guidance is spot on.
- The clubs relating to my passion consists of a very dedicated team and are also on the path to reach us whatever they learnt over their tenure.
- The faculties' teaching methods are right on target and perfect. They know what to teach and also make sure that we understand all the concepts well.
Dislikes
- The hostel rules to visit home and the very average mess food.
- The college is located in the highway which obstructs accessibility to daily essentials. Though they are available in the hostel and campus, some are not available.
- The lack of celebrations for festivals like other colleges makes me feel a bit disappointed. If celebrations are present, we could have a fun and interactive time with the fellow students and would be easier to network with them during organising.
Placement Experience:
Being in the first year, I am not very sure about the placements but word from my seniors sounds like all are getting placed.
They are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards.
I have not planned anything about after getting the degree as of now, but if I manage to get a good offer from campus placements, I would definitely keep them in my considerations.
