Admission process is appreciated as it include merit based students.
Teaching methods are using ppt presentations , Group discussions etc.,
Campus contains shops with all necessary amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basics provides good foundation for further studies like masters ,Mtech etc.., As computer science engineering course is more demanding and very much important in todays emerging technology I have choosen this course. 3 cias will be in 3months with a month gap between each cia, sem exam will happen after lab exams are done.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are offered by our college if not offered through on campus Placements we can go for off campus by applying through online like through linkedin, instagram ,job portals, company websites. We also have an option to do masters, MBA ,MTECH etc.., for further studying.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee is about 1600000. There will be seperate money for Hostel, Exam fee, Breakage fee. Adding them w'll be paying 2lakhs per year. Scholarships include Ntional scholarship portal (NSP) will be about 12000 per year, Pragathi scholarship for girls 50000 per year.

Campus Life

Books are fully accessible in the library we can also take them to hostels. There are many cultural events like Daksh for technology development, Colloseum for sports, Kuruksastra for fun activites. There are many clubs like music club, Telugulites, Tamil sangam, unmaad club, Dance club etc..,

Hostel Facilities

For 1st years college will allocate hostel room we just need to register for hostel. From 2nd year we need to select our rooms. Montly amount for hostel will be around 4500. After semester we need to vacate our hostel and register for new hostel next year.They will provide room for luggage keeping after vacating.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission process of our college doesn't include group discussions, interviews, exam it is based on 12th/Inter marks and JEE mains marks. There will be like 2 streams 1st stream based on jee marks must be above 94 percent. 2nd stream based on Jee marks and 12th/inter marks.

Faculty

Faculties are fully knowledgeable in different domains. There are 3 mid exams in each sem. Among these best of 2 are selected. Semester exam will be for 100marks. Cia exams are bit difficult where as Semester exams are easy to pass.For first year all branch students will be having same subject from 2nd year they will enter intonthere core branches.

Night Life

There is gym for girls and boys from 6am to 8am. Classes will be from 8:45am to 5:15pm there will be free classes in between. Some days it will be till 3pm ,1pm starts at 11am based on time table. We are not allowed to move outside hostels after 6pm. Library timings 8am to 8pm.

Crazy college

Your Concise review and guide to nit trichy

Placement Experience:

The students start sitting for placement from 6th semester i.e the end of third year itself, while many students start getting job offers at the start of 7th semester itself. The placememt percentage here is very good it is around 90% amd the average placement for 2025 placement session is around 15.76 lakh or maybe higher since results are not made available to us ye, the highest offer is around 55lakh+ according to some fourth year students. The number of companies visiting us are many; they include tech giants such as google,microsoft,amazon, sony, samsung, NVIDIA, quolcomm, AMD, Yahoo and highliting companies are Ceat, Volvo, Wolkswagen, LT, Bosch, mcafee and the list goes on and on and on. i plan on getting a job and then going for higher studies in a foreign university.

Placement Experience:

Students sit for placements from the seventh semester. NIT TRICHY- COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best part of this college. This college provides a very good placements both on and off campus to its students the placement percentage is also very good for all the branches ofcourse the placement packages are higher for students of CSE AND ECE branches but others also get a very good package. Students get eligible for placements from the 4th year some even get a PPO from the company they do their intership at in the third year. Big and Prominent comapnies visit our college such as Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Tata Steel, Qualcom, NVIDIA and more recently they gave around 900 offers to the students the highest package was aroung 65 lpa and the average package stood at 16 lpa for the college which is very good as compared to other colleges. The student placement percentage is also very good where aroung 85-90 percent of the students gets placed evey year in defferent sectors like software, Data Science, Management and Core sectors of their branch.

“SASTRA: Strict but Worth It”

had applied to a few reputed universities like VIT, SRM, and Amrita along with SASTRA. I did get shortlisted in some, but I chose SASTRA mainly because of its better academic reputation, affordable fee structure compared to VIT/SRM, and strict yet student-friendly environment. VIT and SRM had flashier campuses and more events, but their fees were almost double, so SASTRA felt like the smarter choice. The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education.
