The college's faculty is a mix of highly qualified and underqualified members, with a notable shortage impacting the faculty-to-student ratio, which started favorably at 1:10 in 2019 but declined over time. Currently, the department operates with only four faculty members, including department heads, and relies on guest lecturers for about 40% of the teaching staff. Despite an outdated curriculum, some faculty members enhance learning through modern teaching methods like flipped classrooms and hands-on projects.
However, there is a lack of faculty for professional practice courses, and the management has not addressed this by hiring more staff. Internships are not provided by the college, and students must arrange these independently, as well as community service projects, which are poorly implemented. Financially, the annual tuition is Rs. 1,20,000, with an additional yearly miscellaneous fee of Rs. 10,000. Hostel fees increased from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 by the end of the course, making the total cost per semester Rs.
1,30,000. Scholarships based on GPA, NATA, and JEE scores offer a 40% to 60% reduction in yearly fees. Over the five-year course, students spend approximately Rs. 5,00,000 on tuition and an additional Rs. 4,00,000 on hostel and transportation, totaling nearly Rs. 15,00,000. The college does not offer campus employment, stipends, or placement opportunities.
