In my college hostel, the facility is mostly 4 and 5 sharing rooms, so you have to adjust with batchmates but it also create bonding. Some rooms have attached bathroom, while others have common washroom on each floor. AC rooms are available but very limited and with higher fee, most of us stay in non-AC rooms which are more affordable. Each room is given with bed, chair, table and cupboard for every student, though sometimes furniture is bit old. Food in mess is average, menu keep repeating, still basic meals like rice, dal, sabji, chapati are served and healthy enough. On some days food taste better, on some days we just eat outside. Hostel registration process is simple, just fill form and pay fees during admission, allotment is first come first serve basis. Cost is reasonable compared to PG outside, where rent is higher and food extra. Few of my friends stay in PG near campus, locality is safe with shops, mess and cafes but overall hostel is more affordable and better connected with college life.

Hostel food are not good which means the food is average

Hostel Facilities:

The university contain 9 hostels overall. The ladies was 3 hostels and gents have remaining 6 hostel. The wardens are separated for all. There is some hostel are big some is small. The small hostel contain 150 rooms for room 4 members. I forgot to say there is different type for room. 4 sharing,5 sharing, 4 sharingAc, 2 sharing, 5 sharing attached washroom etcc.. The separate for ladies and gents hostels. The mos food is ok not bad give 3 stars for 5. Some times it is poor also sometimes.the fees Structure 4 sharing non AC non attached washroom is 87000 4 sharing Ac attached washroom is 1300005 sharing non AC attached washroom is 95000 2 sharing is 85000 The hostel rules is outside foods is not allowed. Outser and non hotel students are not allowed. Hostel gates open in morning 4am for sports and ncc and nss members and closed in 8pm evening The experience of my hostel Life is good the hostel provided event and games monthly and food fest ever month. These is my review according to my side college hostel is safe and secure and joyfully.

There are 3 hostels for the women's and 7 hostels for boys .There is the availability of deluxe and non deluxe rooms also attached washrooms and non attached washrooms.There is also an availability with the sharing also u can select 2,3 ,4,5,8 sharing rooms also.

Ha the hostel rooms are started from the 72000 and ends up at the 140000 and there is an availability of 2 and three and four sharing also attached and non attached deluxe and non deluxe rooms are available .The deluxe room with AC Is 140000

Try provides two fans for each room and two tables and three chairs and 4-5 beds are provides And morning tiffin like idly, vada, pongal, dosa etc.. Afternoon chicken week 2times and boiled egg week once and omlet week once

One bed, cupboard, laudary, fan, light, bathroom, water, table, chair. Very bad food in mess can cause cancer. We have book a room every year in a hostel booking website. you can room or PG in 1-2 kms away from the college for 15000-20000 per month.

How are the Kalasalingam University hostels?

The Kalasalingam University hostel facilities are good. For boys, there are regular hostels and pg hostels. For girls, there are only regular hostels. Rooms have an occupancy of 2 to 4. There are a limited number of rooms with attached bathrooms.

Food offered in mess is average. You will get to choose between regular South Indian Food and North Indian food. Water is a major issue sometimes. There are even days when the whole campus runs out of water.
