The faculty is okay, some of the teachers are great, i like studying the subjects i have chosen.
There were a lot of placement opportunities in my college companies like tcsteleperformance infosys apple, google hostler are coming to employ students and if a student does not get placed in college placement.
The college admission process was very easy i just had to full a online form the cutoff for my course was min 50 percent in class 12 i don't have any complaints with the admission process it was very easy

Dislikes

Comparer to all the past years the placememts for batch 20204 passouts are worst only 30 percent students have been placed .
The hostel service is not good here .there are many students over here but hostels have limited capacity.
Very often their projects and assesments are with unclear instructions and are not guided well.

Manipal university honest review

Likes

The enviornment and the maintainance of the college.
The infrastructure and the classroom are well maintained and air conditioned
The professor are helpful when the student genuinely asks them

Dislikes

Not proper management for the entry of students
There is no transparency of grades and internal marks
Unnecessary charges are applied for even small things

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The companies that come for recruitment asks for the high cgpa in college for applying for interview round. After getting the degree I would go for higher studies.

Good and bad about MUJ

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure, hostels & cleanliness of the campus overall
Availability of a lot of free space like empty classrooms, dining area for sitting and studying during class breaks
Bus service to reach to the main city very cheap

Dislikes

The education that is provided as part of the courses
Mentorship by the teacher, in my 3 initial years i was not once told by any teacher that DSA is needed for campus interviews
Very few teachers have the willingness to tech, rest just do the bare minimum

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are decent considering it is a tier 3 college, and most folks are recruited in service-based firms like TCS, cognizant, and Accenture at around 4-5LPA. There are some startups and firms that offer a little higher but they don't hire a lot of students. Almost everyone is placed at some place or another, and college is really nice in this aspect.

Manipal university Jaipur review

The college atmosphere was very good and motivating to study

Dislikes

Mess food is very bad, there is very low hygiene
Hostel rooms are very expensive, they keep increasing the prices by 15 percent every year and they ask us to vacate room every year.

Placement Experience:

The placements are decent enough, though it depends college connections each year. Microsft, Amazon, tcs, flipkart etc, come to our university for placements. Our college employment are 80-100%. Planning for masters after graduation

MUJ-The Experience

Likes

I really liked how open and diverse the campus and hostels are, allowing you to meet many people and understand the experiences of different people

Dislikes

I didnt really like how expensive and unnecessary the prices were for the hostels as they definitely could have been more reasonable

Placement Experience:

For my particular program the placement rate is 96% in the college many different MNC come to my college for the availability of jobs and if I don't get a placement my plan is to get job opportunities through linked in

A Comprehensive Review for Manipal University Jaipur

The curriculum and opportunities here, in terms of competitions.

Some teachers and their approach towards problem solving

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from seventh semester of BTech for placements. Last year around 118 companies visited and 100 percent placement record was found to be declared with highest international package was around 1cr and domestic was 50 lacs, the average package was 7 lacs with offers from Amazon, Microsoft , BlackRock etc.

Compared to other universities, the course curriculum is very similar to that of any other engineering university. However, there are elective subjects available to provide variety and customization to the curriculum.

The blessings and burdens of MUJ

Likes

Food is good. Although its expensive to stay in a hostel but the food they serve is good compared to stereotypes of a hostel mess.
Food Options: Apart from mess there are lots of other outlets which serve good food but again are expensive.
Facilities for extracurricular activity are amazing, all the cultural clubs have theor different spaces allotted to them for their practices. For example, dance club have their separate dance rooms, music club has their separate jam room, etc

Dislikes

Accessibility: MUJ is situated ariund 30 kms away from the pink city which makes it difficult to travel for daily needs.
High fee: MUJ is very expensive. Be it the academic fee or the hostel fee, the college could break your bank.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements were good till last year, this year there is a huge drop on placements for CSE/IT branches. Most of the students are unplaced. This may also be due to recession so can't really comment on that right now.

the placement percentage of on campus placements are more than 70% which is not bad and if in case any student fails to get on campus placement then the degree of this college provide a good package on off campus placement

From 7th sem we're eligible for placements. the companies are far and wide but not enough for the amount of students in the college. highest placement is around 40lpa and the average is 7lpa. My plans is to sit for placement.

All about MUJ

Likes

The infrastructure of manipal University Jaipur is too good.
The overall environment weather it be of campus or hostel is very good
The mess food is very tasty and healthy also.

Dislikes

75% attendance is must here , you can get detained if your attendance is below 75%.
The college is 25 km distant from jaipur .
The shops and restaurants here are expensive.

Placement Experience:

The placement here are average 7-8 lakh per annum but if you work hard enough and remain a bit disciplined in 4 years of your college life and study well , you can easily land a very good paying job . College's placement environment is not too good but also not bad it's on you .
