Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is congruent to the industry standards, and other top institutions as well The midterm examinations happen once in a semester, as compared to twice , in the previous years, The weightage of marks should be worked upon. Furthermore, the labs are extremely comprehensive but some teachers lack domain specific knowledge for newer fields like deep learning and machine learning aspects. The difficulty level of exams are moderate.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible from seventh semester of BTech for placements. Last year around 118 companies visited and 100 percent placement record was found to be declared with highest international package was around 1cr and domestic was 50 lacs, the average package was 7 lacs with offers from Amazon, Microsoft , BlackRock etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is hiked 12-15 percent percentage year, currently it is close to 4 lakhs a year as compared to around 3.5 lakhs in 2022. The complete cost is around 364000 for my course (btech cse (AI/ML)) inclusive of all charges. There are suitable concessions provided for families that cannot afford full tuition fees , about 50 percent of the tuition fees . The college has designated placement cell with a placement rate of 99 percent, with an average package of 7-8 lakhs, over 100 companies visit the campus each year.
Campus Life
There is an annual techfest , Techideate, happening around actover in each year with collaborations with companies like Polygon, Amazon etc Apart from that there are more than 100 clubs ranging from dancing to linguistics to robotics, you name it Our annual cultural fest Oneiros, is one of the largest fests in Jaipur, in terms cultural experience, it is a blast.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facility is managed by GHS, the rooms are really spacious , not common in many colleges, you can opt for triple or double occupancy in first year, the mess food is nice, far better than many top rated colleges, tailored for many occasions too.
Admission
The eligibility varies from course to course, in case of BTech programs, a percentage above 80 in class 12th is necessary to be eligible for the course. The admissions are done on the basis of cutoff lists from the Entrance Exam (MET) or for some Btech programs, direct admissions are also taken. The admission and onboarding process is streamlined as well as smooth with cooperative staff, you can opt in or out of the hostel accordingly. MET happens only once in the span of morning and evening slots for 3-4 days at various centres.
